One of the best years for movies, especially comic book movies, and TASM2 managed to sink so low. :(

It really is the only dud of the bunch in an otherwise fantastic year for CBMs. One of the strongest. Cap 2, DOFP, and GOTG are all in my top 10 CBMs of all time.

2016 is gonna be better. Apocalypse, Deadpool, Gambit, Batman V Superman, Suicide Squad, Civil War, Dr Strange.

The best year for CBMs in my opinion was 08.

The Dark Knight, Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, & Hellboy 2. All good films. Some better than others but still 4 good films.

I would say its better than 2012 because TDK> TDKR, Iron Man > Avengers, Incredible Hulk > TASM, and I would say Hellboy 2 = Dredd.

It's so sad that Spider-Man's movie ended up being a dud. The one character who should be getting some of the best movies.

Cap 2 is probably my favorite MCU movie to date.

Oh you're forgetting the Sinister Six. That movie will probably blow us all away. :o

2015 is probably going to be one of my favourite years for movies in a long time. I'm seeing Kingsman next week to make sure it gets off to a good start

The movie will probably implode on itself.

I can't believe that Marvel & Sony have kept us so in the dark that we've resorted to digging through the followers on a random, blank Twitter account lol.

Question for the Pro-Sony guys... How would you feel if Andrew walked away of his own accord?

It's seems like he's the only reason you're pushing for Spidey to stay at SONY. So, in that event, would you welcome a reboot or migration to Marvel?

Well if Seven is right sony would´ve announced their plan already , but it seems either they are not done with disscussions to where go next or they have no inmediate plans for now...
Sony right now is just transitioning from Amy Pascal´s change of position i think they will start to plan something once they choose who takes Amy Pascal´s place THEN they will continue to plan the future of the franchise...i think we´ll have to wait a LOOONG time before we actually know what´s next, the lack of info leads us to believe there are still talks between sony and Marvel but that´s not the case in my opinion; Sony will keep the rights but they are not done with their internal issues to decide what to do with Spidey...

Deal with Marvel Studios. No doubt. I loved "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "The Amazing Spider-Man 2", but if Andrew walks away, for any reason, my interest in this franchise is dead. He is the soul of it.

Love the sig, Octavius. :woot:

Well I'm not sure I'd be happy with it, but I'd certainly be a lot more for the deal than I am now.

I still like movie Spidey best as a solo hero and I'm not the biggest MCU fan, but I'd be a lot more open to a new interpretation if Andy left on his own instead of being forced out.

I wouldn't exactly call myself pro-Sony but I would rather have seen this series go on longer than it's going to. That being said, to answer the question, if he walked away of his own accord because of how Sony kept messing with the films, good for him. And if he walked out, so does my interest. Despite all my issues with the two films, the two things that really made me enjoy them were Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield. Gwen's obviously dead and if Andrew's out, then I don't care to see the series go on any further and I'd rather it returned to Marvel. I'm not the biggest fan of the MCU, I find it mostly just okay with a few great films, but Sony just seems to have no idea what they're doing and I don't trust them, especially Arad, to have learned to keep their fingers out of it if they want a good film.

And Chip, your avatar shall haunt my nightmares.

I'm with this crew, despite pushing for Spidey in the MCU. :oldrazz:

Andrew's PP/Spidey is one of my favorite incarnations of that character, and if he got fired/walked away, there goes my interest with TASM franchise.

It was a lot easier when they rebooted Raimi's trilogy, considering I never really loved Tobey as PP/Spidey, but to get rid of Garfield/have him walk away would be the final nail in the coffin for me in terms of Sony.

To put it much more simply:

I'm 80% MCU and 20% Sony.
Should Garfield go due to his own choice or get released of his contract,
I'm 100% MCU.

TDK> TDKR - Agree.
Iron Man > Avengers - Agree.
Incredible Hulk > TASM - Don't Agree.
Hellboy 2 = Dredd - No chance.

It really is sad, you can see just how much he loves the character too. :csad:

:( I feel really bad for the guy..

You guys couldn't care less about Andrew, all you care about is Spidey getting in the MCU.. you don't care if he gets left behind.

I feel bad for Andrew. But Marvel would really benefit from a clean slate (new actors). Not a lot of people who want a Marvel Studios Spider-man film will want any of the TASM team to come over. It would be incredibly awkward and weird for Andrew to stay in my opinion. He had his chance and Sony wasted him, it sucks but you gotta move on.
