I'm ****ing done.

Yeah, sure... there's no proof whatsoever that Andrew is THE Spider-Man for quite a lot of people out there. There's NO proof! NO PROOF!!! NO ****ING PROOF!!

"The absence of proof is the proof"? ********! You don't see the proof because you refuse to believe there's any proof. It's all out there, y'know. You just kind of have to step outside your box and look around. But no, because you don't agree with the people that do see Andrew in that way, you say it's "delusion" or "overhyped fanboy"! Isn't that basically what you're doing by refusing to believe Andrew is actually consider to be definitive by many? You're "deluded" because YOU can't see what is obviously there.

I'm done with this section of the hype. You can't go around saying "it's a delusion" because you don't agree... because we could then say "it's a delusion" because we don't agree with you, but then you'd get all up in our **** because you think your opinion is fact.

I ain't even excited for Spider-Man movies anymore, because the fanbase has RUINED the character for me.

I'm out.

Don't go Miles.

:bow::bow::bow::bow::bow:

You said nothing but true words, people refuse to see it because of their own personal bias. Don't bother anymore.

I agree, but i try to disconnect myself from the superfluous crap that i witness from the controversal and vile fanbase. Theres some good people, and yet theres annoying ones that wont listen to reason.

Translation; I'm saying there is proof but I know there really isn't that's why I can't post any, so I'm just pretending there is by saying go out there and look for it because it's everywhere.

The fanbase has not ruined the character, the hack team doing the TASM movies has. That's why they're in this pickle. If harsh reality is too much for you to handle then maybe it's best you do leave, Miles. You take this forum far too seriously judging by this OTT reaction.

But don't blame the fans for not lapping up Sony's rubbish.

Getting rid of Andrew Garfield in Spider-Man is like getting rid of Martin Freeman in The Hobbit.

But there is.If you refuse to look, that's well.. your problem.

No there isn't. And the fact you can't show it proves there isn't. You would be rubbing it in all the naysayers faces to shut us up if there was.

I understand and sympathize with Miles frustrations, this is not a fun conversation and it's especially not fun when you are emotionally attached to an actor and franchise. I'm still not going to pretend something is fact when it is not.

There is proof.
Only because you dislike a movie series doesn't mean everyone else does.
You really think that ALL 7 billion people of this planet hate Andrew's Spidey??
Cause that's what I understand of what you're saying. If you mean this, you are ridiculous

I'm not trying to shut nobody, you are. You need to open your door and adventure for some time instead of just relying in your own personal bias.

Where's your PROF that nobody besides the claimed "fanboys" care for him?

Exactly. Not everyone is a huge hater of these "rubbish" spiderman movies.

There is not anybody saying everyone hates them thatspiderguy. But Sony would not be doing the Sinister Six, Venom, and female characters spin off movies if the TASM movies were so good and successful and loved by most.

The RDJ thing is already dropped, I don't believe that he's irreplaceable, like with every single other actor.

But just that he brought the best Spidey IMO and that the audience obviously care for him.

Don't exaggerate, Joker said nothing of the sort.

Joker is asking for proof, and no one is stepping up. C'mon guys!

Already with the small amount of people that i follow and follow me on twitter (these are people i dont even know),i have found SEVERAL posts on "Andrew was not the problem with TASM, andrew should stay, andrew IS spiderman/peter parker etc etc"

Because only fanboys would say hysterical rubbish like they would never watch another Spider-Man movie if Garfield got replaced.

Normal rational movie fans would not say such BS.

Those particular qualms, yes. But Garfield's popular and he has tons of fans among the non-geek crowd. Yeah, he can be replaced. That's not the question, though. The question is: would audiences be completely indifferent? Would the BO not dwindle, the way it did in the Maguire-to-Garfield transition? Would praise in the lead acting department be just as effusive? Would the continuous (and potentially unfavorable) comparisons be absent? You can be sure the answer to all of those is yes, but don't be outraged if other people aren't just yet. It's a big possibility, so no reason they should.

There is proof.

SO POST IT!

Only because you dislike a movie series doesn't mean everyone else does. You really think that ALL 7 billion people of this planet hate Andrew's Spidey??

Yeah that's what I've been saying. Everyone in the world hates these movies. I mean you can see that in every one of my posts. Why don't you go and link one for proof?

Your reading comprehension skills are as bad as your ill informed opinions.

I'm not trying to shut nobody, you are.

Really who am I trying to shut up? I am asking for something and getting nothing back except hearsay claims that something which I know doesn't exist does.

You need to open your door and adventure for some time instead of just relying in your own personal bias.

Why don't you help me do that and at the same time validate your argument, and post the proof?

Where's your PROF that nobody besides the claimed "fanboys" care for him?

I never said that. Is bad reading skills a common affliction with TASM fans?

I said only fanboys would get seriously upset if he was replaced. Like the looney tunes reactions you were getting on Tumblr about never watching a Spider-Man movie again if he is replaced.

Not once did I say nobody likes him or cares about him, or the whole world hates him or these movies. I challenge either one of you hyperbolic exaggerators to link one single post of mine where I said that.

Go ahead.

Don't exaggerate, Joker said nothing of the sort.

THANK YOU. So someone else here can read properly then.

Joker is asking for proof, and no one is stepping up. C'mon guys!

And he can't give us the prof he claims to have that nobody would care for Andrew's recasting. Why even bother with people that make these kind of assumptions and state them like facts?

This is a breakthrough, an actual admission that people did like Maguire in the role.
