[Spider-Who?]

I think one of the things that helps the CGI is the suit, actually. When you look at the practical suit, it's not skin tight all over - there are folds and ripples in the cloth (most noticeably in the legs) that aren't there in the Raimi suit. Having those little touches helps sell the CGI, I think.

Also, in that second giff, i love how he yanks on the web line to create a bungee effect to propel him forward. Nice touch.

There HAS to be something about his genes!

Think about it: There is a large amount of spiders in the room where he gets bitten. So it's not just one spider that's uniqe... all of them are! So for him to become spider-man, not only the spider has to be special, he has to be special too! Otherwise everyone who walks into this room and gets accidentally bitten would become some sort of spider-man..

Get what I mean? ^^

Or they'd just die. Just like Gamma radiation turned Banner into the Hulk, while everyone else would have probably died. Or maybe these Spiders can turn everyone Superhuman. Didn't the new Ultimate Spider-Man get basically bitten by a Spider, from the same experiment as Peter?

That's not true. In the first Spider-Man there were 15 genetically enhanced super spiders. MJ remarks that there are only 14. The 15th then bits Peter.

Doubt it. They just look like 2 takes of the same shot.

But he's moving from the left to the right in the USM pose shot and he's coming at the camera in the other one... so yeah, it could be something else, like a continuous shot of Spidey's feats as he's avoiding being caught.

For the freaken first_time_ever, Spidey truly looks to have gravity when swinging!

There's also something about the speed being very realistic. It looks incredibly REAL now!

agreed! I don't think this will beat avengers in terms of entertainment/quality, but I do think its the sleeper cbm of the year and still a very good movie overall, I'm much more excited for this than i am for tdkr. and I think this will be slightly better.

Not sure if anybody noticed this yet but...

I knew as soon as I saw it it was straight out the comics. Also don't forget the spider-man 2 poster swinging over NY had a similar pose too. Also has anyone noticed how the wall-crawling in the trailer seems a lot more... natural and sort of seamlessness to it, I like it a lot.

It's not only the speed, but it's the way his body is moving due to the wind while he's in mid swing. Very nicely done.

Well, there's just no gravity when he pulls himself forward in the second giff! I liked it though.
