Hmm I'm not sure. I would guess he's in his junior year.Have they said what year of high school Peter is in? I'm assuming it would be his junior or senior year?
Well, I certainly hope not. lol But good point, though. A "meh" or disappointing trailer doesn't mean the movie won't be good.as long as the style tone of the trailer is good that is all I care about.
I've seen a great trailer and been disappointed with the end product - SM3
I've seen a 'meh' trailer and been blown away with the end product - TDK
so even if the trailer disappoints it's not the end of the world

Holy junk do we need a trailer.
So I felt like clarifying; a few weeks back I told everyone that my brother had seen an ASM trailer come in to their theater with a big number 2 on it, and he assumed it was trailer #2. Turns out it was just the 3D rendered trailer, hence the 2.
However, he did say that there was an extremely tiny difference, in that the establishing shot of NYC at the beginning of the trailer was different, but nothing else. The rest was business as usual.
Nothing exciting, I know, but maybe, just maybe, since there was a small difference in that trailer, it may mean that Sony is getting ready to release a new one soon. I believe he told me that they were screening that trailer with Underworld, so I'm thinking they may get a new one for Ghost Rider. Of course this is just me speculating, but I don't see it being impossible.
Here's hoping.
Trailer was already confirmed by the director to be released in February.
Also in other interesting news a good article on the webshooter debate....Bendis speaks:

the webshooters are definately shorthand with regards to showing how smart peter is.

I confess it is time to see a live action depiction of the webshooters. Though I want to see what the **** he makes the adhesive out of.
They'll probably go with the explanation the Ultimate Comics gave where Peter's father had been working on a formula for an adhesive and Peter perfected it.
That's makes more since then Peter just making up off the top of his head like in th regular comics.
This is my bet. Brings it back to his father as well, as the parents weren't touched upon in the previous series. Webb and company are highlighting that angle as a reason why the reboot will be different. In any case the webbing will be explained, just as Raimi did so with his version. They'll probably go with the explanation the Ultimate Comics gave where Peter's father had been working on a formula for an adhesive and Peter perfected it
