This franchise should be honoured and lucky enough to have an actor of Gosling's calibre involved. I think he could be a pretty interesting Eddie Brock actually.

I enjoy Gosling's films too and I remember him from back in the day on Breaker High, but...I just can't see him as Eddie Brock, nor do I want to see Eddie Brock at all in the reboot.

The game will be taken place after the movie itself, so no, we won't be seeing them.

Cool idea with the belt!

I can see that coming into play with the future of the franchise. I think it's weird how I never think of the most practical solutions to some of the age-old questions we always ask, like, "where would he keep his web cartridges/ spidey signal/ tracers?" Obviously a utility belt and obviously he'd wear it on the outside because it would look weird if he wore the costume over it. Duh.

I'd really love to see that integrated somehow.

I'm all for a belt, but I hope it isn't as big and clunky looking as the one pictured. People are already calling this movie Spider-Man Begins as is.

The more I look at the belt, the less I like it. I'm really hoping it only stays in the Rhino portion of the game and doesn't go anywhere else. A clunky belt like that doesn't work on a skin-tight suit. It looks out of place and the colors don't align with the suit which makes it stand out more. It's not terrible, but I think the suit benefits without it.

It gives it a utilitarian look. Which sort of works considering how the costume is designed around functionality. I just think it needs to be streamlined a bit. Looks too much like Batman's utility belt.
