My favorite scene has got to be the ceiling fight bit. I bet that sequence is gonna kick plenty of wild African donkeys, let's just hope it lasts more than 5 seconds.

Favorite scene definitely the one in which he kicks Lizard of the tower

Favorite scene was the football scene (no joke) and when he's fighting the thugs in the alley.

I like more the version (can't remember in which trailer or spot it was) where Gwen smiles after Peter says "too dangerous". It was very cute.

After watching the previews, tv spots, etc... I am really not liking Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker. He is just not selling it to me - his look, his acting, his demeanor, I'm not feeling it.

I hope he's the Peter Parker I always wanted, but I highly doubt it.

Any scene with Spider-Man and practical effects is my favorite.

but if he's not peter parker, then he's not spider-man, as peter parker is spider-man.

Andrew is spot on, the look, the voice everything to me screams Peter parker, and even more to Spider-Man

IMO BEST SHOT IN ANY TRAILER, so freggin awesome.

So Spidey-Like, the way he moves is like the comic books, in this shot he scans the room looking for Lizard.

I think the crouched guy is real and web is (obviously) CGI. Or maybe it's the other way around. lol

Jeez its just...well something about that shot looks brilliant that I cant describe it.
Just a simple epic shot of Spidey doing what he does best.

You have not read Ultimate Spider-Man, have you?

I like it he looks way more 'spidery' in motion if that means anything, not just a guy that can climb walls

Handsome in a nerdy way with brown eyes and hair.

Awkward and shy but also a warm personality with a sharp wit.

Yeah, that's nothing like Peter Parker. :whatever:

Doesn't matter if he has or hasn't, he's not feeling Garfield as Peter. Nothing wrong with that.

Thank Mako. Yes, I've read Ultimate Spider-Man since issue 1 to about 100 and enjoyed it a lot, but I was expecting a more upbeat Peter, like the 90s animated series, one who is somewhat upbeat, Garfield is coming across as, yet again, meek and monotone, and I'm not feeling it one bit.

Given the movie is over 2 hours long as I have read hopefully I'm proven wrong in my impression. When Batman Begins was coming out I didn't know what to expect and I warmed up to it considerably, but for the love of God I'm asking for a Peter who comes across that is out of my imagination or dare I say our collective imagination.

I think Nicholas Hammond from the live action 70s show came across pretty darn close to a great live action Peter Parker.

Again, not feeling it, but I hope I'm wrong soon on July 2 when I see it.

My favorite trailer scenes:

- all the webslinging (can't wait for 3D, I usually avoid it)
- Spider-man throwing Gwen out the window and snagging her (she survives, yay)
- Spider-man avoiding a Lizard attack while both are on the ceiling
- Gwen looking terrified while hiding from the Lizard

Sorry I couldn't pick just one. :woot:

True this. In the scene from one of the theatrical trailers (not sure which... it's the one where he's climbing the skyscraper) he really reminded me of a quick spider. Great stuff.

Yes she does... this time around.

Btw, we really need a Vincent Price smilie.

Is Peter covering his face in this shot?

Add another to the list of people who know Pete is Spidey. Although it was quite evident Ratha would find out, based on his lines in the trailer. Personally I don't think Ratha is going to make it out of the movie alive, anyway.

Also, what's up with Lizzie's head? I may be seeing it wrong, but is he halfway between Connors and Lizard? I can swear I see blonde hair. Probably wrong though.

Maybe he's mid-transformation but also there is a lot of motion blur, looks like hes tryna kill ratha and spidey got smacked while tryin to stop him

So in other words you were expecting an adult Peter Parker? I'm sorry, this Peter has to grow up first. I have a feeling you might be disappointed.

I grew up on the 90' s series but for me hands down Neil Patrick Harris was the best spider-man. I get that same vibe from Andrew.
