And this...

It looks for green-ish than gold-ish to me in that second pic. But there's evidence that suggests that the material may change depending on the shot. Ie:

Silver mesh.

Reflective.

Yup.

But we've got at least one still from a scene in the movie where they're yellow.

In Raimi's Spider-Man, the only time the eyes were reflective was in that shot where he's looking at the Twin Towers.. which was, what, 6 seconds? After that, they used reflective eyes in the promos, etc... but I don't recall ever seeing them appear again in Spider-Man 2 or 3.

The shot on the bridge where he had to decide whether to save the falling MJ or the falling kids also had reflecting lenses. Great shot, btw.

I think most CGI scenes had him with reflective lenses.

Can't believe I forgot about that! And agreed. :woot:

That's because they color-corrected it for the EW issue. The one that was printed in EMPIRE magazine had gold lenses.

They've been yellow/gold in EW's picture and EMPIRE's. The picture that he posted was a scan, that's why the colouring everywhere is a little off.

They were fully reflective in the table of contents shot from EW. But yes, reflective/gold in near every other picture.

If there is any logo, which there isn't, it would be the ASICS logo. Because they're ASICS track and field shoes.

I think they saw the overwhelming hate for the silver and, now, in post production, they are changing them to red with blue lining.

:funny:

No. That's not happening.
If they wanted to make fans happier they'd scratch the design all together.

Don't worry, they will probably do that in the sequel. Not just because of the crazy amount of hate towards the costume, but they would probably change it anyway

I see that now, but at the time it made sense since they were red in an official made picture. And, believe it or not, some fans like the suit. Sorry to break that to you.

If the movie sucks, changing the suit won't matter in the sequel. TDK (nothing like the comics, great movie) SM3 (classic suit, horrible movie).
