Schultz >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Montana :o
I was skeptical at first, but I ended up liking Montana as Shocker a lot more then Herman. His accent and mannerisms just fit the character they built, imo. He had more personality. I'd be fine if they did the same here.

That doesn't sound strange at all, in fact it sounds like a good idea. If TASM is as successful a game as I hope, as WE hope, it will most likely open the door for Beenox to work on more games and rightly so. Given their love of Spidey and the care in which they've handled him and his mythos, I'd love to see them work on other superheroes. Daredevil is a really neat choice and I wouldn't mind seeing what they do for him.

I would like for Beenox to introduce Kingpin in a Daredevil game, and then the next Spidey game, we see where Kingpin gains hatred for Spider-Man, possibly having Spidey and Daredevil team up.

This is exactly what I want. TASM sounds like everything I want in a Spider-Man game except it being 616, and it makes it hard for me to get fully excited. If the second team at Beenox released a 616 game that took all the positives from TASM (and used the groundwork) and added new stuff to it, I would probably cry from happiness. (Well, not really. But you get the idea.)

I hope they deliver, I need a new Spidey game in my collection

At least they kept the "Business before personal stuff" bit. But I prefer a guy making his doohickey

this game is in 'day one purchase" territory with me,
In a way, I feel the same, and I hate getting games before going low in price
If I could play it more than 30+ times and have a blast with it, then I'd say it was worth the money spent on it

This may sound strange, I would really like for Beenox to work on a Daredevil game. Spidey has his dark elements at times, but his games are not really dark in tone. I think Daredevil would be great, Beenox is currently proving what all they can do with Spidey, so it would be great to let them go all out on Daredevil, it's time we get a dark gritty Marvel game that isn't an obvious character like The Punisher.
Nothing strange about it, it could be good

I'm down for that.

I've always wanted a Marvel Knights co-op free roam game. Seriously, my dream game. Legit. We're talkin' Spidey, Daredevil, Moon Knight and then either Dr Strange or Punisher, whoever would fit the story/gameplay better. That would rock my freakin' socks off.

Co-op free roam Marvel Knights? That would be awesome. I'd love to have a really good co-op experience with any one of those characters. I'm also a bit surprised that Beenox hasn't mentioned anything about including co-op in TASM or possibly a future Spiderman game...it seems to be a feature that many people would be excited about.

Because it isn't needed. The same way co-op isn't needed in Arkham Asylum and City. Every game doesnt have to have co-op/mp. Spidey is first and foremost a solitary hero, co-op doesnt need to take any time away from focusing on the SP. Rocksteady was on to something, Beenox needs to follow suit.

Needed? No. Wanted? Yes. It's not a big item on my list of wants but if it was included in the game or even as a side-purchaseable DLC item, I'd be stoked.

Beenox is already copying/borrowing from Rocksteady, so I'm not worried much about that. From what we've seen Beenox appears to be using the same combat, camera during combat (the swinging camera looks a bit different than what Bats used in AC), Web rush retreat button (looks like the grapnel gun), stealth and silent takedowns, etc.

I would love to have such a game, based on that Marvel Knight series by Dixon and Barreto

And they should continue that by keeping co op out.

Since we're on the topic about other Marvel characters that could use a game, I would like for Activision to step outside the box with the X-Men and give us an rpg on the level of Mass Effect, that would be a dream come true.

This was posted in the other thread. It's very positive.

Apparently once Spidey runs out of web cartridges in his belt, he will have to go refill them. It sounds like a really neat detail. Hopefully they have a way to prevent it from becoming to annoying like warnings or Ultimate Spider-man jumping and wall running.

They seemed to also like the pedestrian A.I. I wonder how it will compare to previous games.

Honestly, I'be be happy with a sequel of XM Legends II, but in the vein of the first game, with flashbacks to their classic fights, where we could relieve moments from the comics, but at the same time, follow an original story just for the game. I loved that.

From what iv heard, Spidey running out of web fluid will be strictly cosmetic. You will see him change out his cartridges but it won't actually change gameplay.

Didn't play any of the XML games, that concept seems interesting
I wish they kept the X-Men license with Ravensoft, or at least keep them consultants for X-Men Destiny

I would want a Deadpool game, and I'm not even a fan. I mean the game pitches itself. Gun/sword play like in Devil May Cry (I'd imagine, never played those) with crazy Ratchet & Clank weapons thrown in. 4th-wall breaking galore and Nolan North. Million seller right there :P

Otherwise I would like for Voliton to do a follow up on their Punisher game, but thats probably not gonna happen.

I wouldn't doubt if we we were to get a game tie in with the DeadPool film. Hopefully Ravensoft would get to do it and would do it in the same style as their Wolverine game.

And yea, id love to see a sequel to that Punisher game. I actually popped that in my 360 the other night. Still wicked fun. Few things beat ramming a knife into a thugs face and giving it a twist.

If I remember correctly, I think you said that before

That's what one of the earlier previews said.

But this preview says otherwise.

"Spider-Man’s mechanical web shooters will play a big role in the game (just like they will in the film). You won’t travel around the city finding random cartridges, but rather have to go back to your apartment and refill when you have run out of them on your belt. This will be the same place where you repair your suit."

Yea i saw that, someone misspoke obviously. I dont see Beenox stranding players in the middle of NYC without webbing. So not sure really how it will work.

Darn, forgot about it having cartridge replacement ready in the belt, and basically infinite spare cartridges

Suppose it will have an effect on higher difficulties?
