Do we have any information about TAS cat & crew making a sort of brief documentary/The Making Of video for the movie?

As we know, it's been established already as a trend for most blockbusters, especially comics adaptations, to make special videos/documentaries about making the movie as both a trivial addition and promotional tool in marketing the film.

Do you thin TAS should have one? Is it being made? What you think will be in it?

I'm pretty sure we'll get to know some very interesting details and subtext in Webb's work when watching it. I just hope they release it in advance on some TV channel/

I'm sure it will just be on Disc 2 of the DVD/Blu Ray release. That's how it was with the first 3 and the decision of what goes on the respective discs is generally up to the marketing team and Sony, both of which have remained largely the same from the Raimi days.

And yes I absolutely want it. One of my favorite things about DVDs are the behind the scenes extras. Watching Spider-Man 2 with the little webisodes that popped up during the movie was awesome, as well as the separate Making Of segment.

I'd get a kick out of a detailed explanation of the costume. :D

I actually remember they released documentaries prior to the release of the first Spidey film and Batman Begins. Both were broadcast on my MTV and VH1.

I hope Dafoe or Molina comes in set in their respected villain attire from Raimi's films. Would definitely not mind appearances from the better reasons of the trilogy

They usually shoot the making of as they shoot the movie. I'm sure we'll get a few snippets in the months leading up to its theatrical release, and the full thing on the dvd/bluray.

I don't know why you're so hooked on the suit. If you don't like it, that's fine. You've expressed your opinion. I don't know why you have to keep bringing it up...?

I may sounds like I'm complaining, but I'm just curious.

I would love the reason to find out about the suit as well. Just to hear Webb's emphasize on how they wanted the suit to make it look like a teenager made it, which I love

I suppose people hate grounded ideas.

It would be cool if they included the behind the scene footage of Andrew first realizing he got the part to be spiderman, since he said there was a flip camera in the room he was in.

We'll probably get some "Making Of" featurettes and B-roll footage in the months before release.

A good reason doesn't mean a good outcome.

This is true, but for what it represents and for what it's worth, I think the outcome is perfectly fine. It's not the Spidey suit we all know and love, but it's something that completely makes sense, much like TDK's suit.

Yeah, I guess comparing it to the TDK suit is fine. They both have a good reason for their look, but neither of them are very good looking suits. Although, I do prefer the TAS suit to the TDK suit.

I would have enjoyed the TDK suit more if it was better developed and less patchy-looking, but I can look pass that and I really like the TAS-M suit. I think the overall look of it is still Spidey-worthy even with a few minor nitpicks that I even have, but it works and makes sense as TDK's suit does. And having more grounded renditions of a superhero's costume is totally fine, imo. Look at Captain America for instance. It's more grounded as well even though they still managed to make it look more comic-looking.

Hey socool, you seem to really hate the new suit. Why is it your avatar then? lol
