On Another note. The Marlins will be ditching the Teal when they move into the new stadium in 2012.

From a Q&A with Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria in the NY Times.

Q. Will the team have new uniforms?
A. We’re two years away, but we started working on a new look for the uniforms, new colors, something special for the new home. Teal is a color for the ’90s. You have to be cognizant of your time. The seats will be a beautiful shade of blue.

For all that Loria knows about art (he made his millions as an art dealer) he doesn't seem to know much about having a unique look to his team. Teal was such a good fit for the team, if not as the primary color then as an accenting color. It's not surprising that he plans to do away with teal completely. The Marlins have phased it out of their scheme more and more ever since the latest ownership took over and have tried forcing orange into logos and giveaways.

Blue and orange. Where have I seen that before...

Where were your thank yous for all of my hard work over the last 37 pages? I created this thread! If it weren't for me you wouldn't have a forum to gush over green uniforms, but I took you in. I housed you!

When the Jaguars unveiled their new uniforms I thought "These are terrible, but you know what? Silver Knight would like these, so I'm going to post it for him."

I did. Where was my thank you? Pause and think about how *I* feel!
