I wonder if they'll have it as their center ice logo...the Hurricanes did the same thing a couple years back.

I'm gonna go ahead and say yes they will. One thing about the organization they do things the right way. Even if the on ice product doesn't always show it.

Slick.

Be better if it were Teal though.
:p :joker:

It's kinda sorta trying to look teal :awesome:

In any event, those throwbacks are better than their Pac Man costumes.

so they're actually commemorating the fact that it's been 50 years since they've won any kind of championship?

Just as long as they leave the Pac Man Jersies in the past, the Eagles can wear those all year long. No Eagles jersey can be worse than those, and no green jersey can be worse that those walking highlighters known as the Seahawks alternates.

Today is SK's lucky day. The new Warriors logo has apparently been leaked, as have a few other logo tweaks:

Golden State: Meh. Weird attempt to be classy.

Utah: :barf:

Cavs: Not bad. More gold isn't a bad thing.

Magic: Get rid of the black.

The Clippers also made a subtle change, but it's not really noticeable. Not really digging the Warriors logo, but it's a nod to the old "City" logo which I've always been a fan of.

Whats new with the Magic? Wheres the Clippers?

Those are sick. I wish my Jets would change their throwback unis, the navy and gold is just horrific

yea. the jets need to change their throwbacks bad. There can't be many people buying those things... But the Jets uniforms have been pretty much the same since Namath.

Throwsbacks like what the Jets currently wear and what Denver wore last year are pointless. Who would want to wear that garbage to a game? It doesn't even have the team colors on it. The Steelers throwbacks and the new Eagles throwback are what a throwback should look like. You can still recognize that the jersey belongs to the Eagles

So let me get this straight. MLB has everyone wearing pink wrist bands, ribbons and bats, but Matt Wieters can't put his mothers name on his chest protector collar for Mother's Day? Who does MLB think they are? The NFL? Bunch of clowns.

MLB: Pretty in pink...but Major League Baseball is celebrating Mothers Day with its annual promotion of breast cancer awareness. Players are wearing pink batting gloves and ribbons and using special bats that are painted pink.
It's a great thing, of course, but I'm trying to figure out just what MLB officials were thinking when they told Matt Wieters that he couldn't wear a specially made chest protector with some pink in the padding and his mother's name (Pamela) embroidered tastefully on the collar.
Wieters was forbidden from wearing it because it didn't meet MLB's uniform requirements -- on a day when the sport totally relaxed its uniform and equipment rules for the same reason. I know that rules are rules, but this kind of thing just makes MLB officials look like mindless martinets.
Though it certainly isn't on the same level, it's kind of reminiscent of the time NFL officials told Peyton Manning he could not wear black high-top shoes as a special tribute after the death of Johnny Unitas.

I hate the current uniform rules in sports, with the NFL being king. I can understand why taking things on a case by case basis could cause a problem, but it's more than easy to tell what is tasteful and classy and what is overstepping boundaries.

wow that's crazy. i've seen basketball players write stuff on their shoes and stuff. at least this was done for some respectful and meaningful

Edmonton Oilers new Farm team in OKC have unveiled their new logo and colors.

FYI people of OKC, that team is going to suck. They were awful in Springfield this past season. Thank God we have the Columbus youngsters in town for next season.
