Bobcats new uniforms. The pinstripes are unnecessary.

Yeah, those uniforms Minnesota introduced last season look like they were plucked from the WNBA. The Bobcats' new ones appear to be an upgrade, but I can do without the pinstripes. They have no business even being there.

Also, a bit of news on Charlotte's new set:

"Bobcats spokesman B.J. Evans said the team is still doing a final review of the new look, but that the Henderson picture is as "close as it's going to get'' to how they'll appear. The road uniforms will use blue (rather than orange) as the primary color; the team has been transitioning that way since introducing a blue "alternative'' road uniform a couple of years ago."

The orange uni's were no thing of beauty, but they were original in the sense that no other team in the NBA used orange as a primary color. Now they're fading it out in favor of blue. You know, that color that half of the league already wears?

i used to love the magic unis with em. i kinda wish theyd keep the orange primary, just like you said, no one else had it

I'm ok with pinstripes as a whole. I'm glad the Magic and Hornets went old school by reintroducing them last season, but Charlotte? Blah.

Those seem forced as well, but at least it's better than that terrible checker pattern on their old "special" alternates. Nastayyy.

God, I'm hoping not, but it does look that way. Those are beyond terrible. Every team is using the same template with the same colors more or less. The team names are terrible as well: California Redwoods, Las Vegas Locomotives, Florida Tuskers. The NY team has yet to be named.

But in between all the gems you have well, crap.

Like the Ted Ginn jersey I saw earlier today.
