So they cant be getting a updated 3rd jersey then can they. I think their new jersey will be black with red.

Columbus Dispatch is saying the Blue Jackets are getting a third jersey next season.

-- Reebok has been handed design ideas by the Blue Jackets regarding the third sweater, to be unveiled next season. The club expects to get a prototype back from the sporting goods' supplier shortly. Local retailers have already been asked to submit orders. The Dispatch has been told by a high-ranking front-office member that the new duds will be unveiled next November
.

i didn't even know Columbus had a team but with the name like Blue Jackets, it sure does narrow down the palette

Reported..again.

This is NOT the logo thread

:oldrazz:

Duh! I only posted them because this obviously affects the Pro Bowl jersies! :wow:

Any word on what colour the new Warriors set will be for next season?

I'd hold off on any uniform questions regarding a team's look NEXT season when there are still 30 games to be played THIS season. Just sayin'.

I wouldn't. Clearly the new look and colours have been approved. Its only a matter of time really.

Could be worse. They have a bit of an arrogant royal vibe about them with that sash stripe, but it's not horrendous.

those are ridiculous. they look like beauty pageant contestants with that big white sash. it should say "Ms. America" on it to complete the look.

oh well, it's only soccer.

S'pose this fits in here. ESPN Insider:

A group headed by Michael Jordan will take control of the Charlotte Bobcats if approved by the NBA owners. The Charlotte Observer reports Jordan made a "huge personal financial commitment" to help make the deal happen.

Now that Charlotte is getting a new owner, Rick Bonnell of The Charlotte Observer wonders if the team should get a new nickname.

Bonnell writes: "If Michael Jordan listens to his customers, and potential customers, he'll seriously consider a name change from 'Bobcats' once his purchase of Charlotte's NBA franchise is complete. Too many of you have emailed me with that suggestion not to think it's an issue to many Charlotteans. You didn't like Bob Johnson naming the team after himself, and you sure don't see this as a positive once Johnson is no longer majority owner. This wouldn't be cheap. I spoke with an NBA executive who estimated it would cost the franchise anywhere from $3 million to $10 million to rebrand the team."
