Like the return to the Classic Sabres jersey for the road. Not a fan of the alternate however.

Well, not really "Classic Sabres" with the new road, more a faux back jersey. Logo is the only thing that is "classic".

Oh and one more thing. The Pittsburgh Pirates had a Roberto Clemente night yesterday and they donned gold caps in honor of it. Looks pretty good IMO.

Arm Pit shading, the piping on the side panels and Silver Outlining the stripes make it a FauxBack.

Don't get me wrong it is 100 x's better than that Banana Slug, but it's not the same as the good old days of the Aud and Mike Foligino jumping through the air after a goal.

And a Million x's better than the Red, White, Black, Silver debacle.

Another hockey update, just a little player specific tid-bit. Chris Drury from NY Rangers has velcro on his sleeve cuffs. Supposedly to make the sleeves fit tighter around his wrists.

Yeah same here. I've never done that in my 20+ years either. He must like the cuffs nice and tight around his wrists that is all. I used to take the cuffs and tuck them back under the front of my elbow pads so they weren't slopping around, but I never taped them around my wrists or anything.

From last season. Some just look a little different due to a new jersey cut the Reebok introduced. Some of the cuts, hack into the jersey piping.

The Redskins broke out the rumored Gold Pants with multi-striped socks.

Couple of AHL updates. The league introduced the 75th Anniversary Logo.

And the Syracuse Crunch will wear some old school Syracuse Stars uni's as a Throwback for said 75th Anniversary.
