Does this traditional sleeveless jersey w/ the adds replace the sleeved jerseys? Because if anything I would've kept these more traditional ones ad free and the sleeved jersey, that have much more space to have the ads. Just my opinion

Then perhaps introduce one? You shouldn't do a modern day rebrand of the teams glory days only to deface the traditional jersey's w/ ads. To me that makes no sense. I would've rather they had introduced a sleeved alt. jersey that they only wear a few times a season and put ads on that instead of the traditional ones they are going to wear for the majority of the season. Doesn't make sense to me. And this goes for other teams as well.

My guess is they weren't going to get $5 million per season from a sponsor if they only wore it a handful of times per year. Probably not worth the team's or sponsors time if it's only going to show up sporadically.

For now, only jersey's worn by the players will have ads. Fan jerseys won't, to my knowledge.

If you buy them at the stadiums/team stores they'll have the ads on them. Anything from a national retailer won't have ads on it.

MLB was in full camo mode for Memorial Day yesterday. It's gotten to be a little much. I fear its more about merchandising opportunities and pandering to certain demos at this point rather than actually honoring our dead servicemen.

Anyway, I know posted the jersey stills earlier but here are some in action:
