The Dark Knight The Anita18 Appreciation Thread

Yes. Thank you, Anita. I remember finding out about virals by googling them, but I didn't realize how far behind I had been until seeing your wikibruce page. Without you, I would have been months behind. You were always the first place I looked for updates. You're the best.

Too bad Anita can't post her address somewhere so 42E could send her a special swag package. Like they did with Batman-on-Film and Perez Hilton and those other press members who got special packages. She sure deserves it more than those people! :yay:

I guarantee that 42 looks at the wiki. How do you think they knew about SilentType's Gotham map?
Some of the site screenshots on the new reports at WSS are also very likely taken from the Wiki. :oldrazz:

I'm highly, highly amused that they worked in SilentType as a clue to get us to use the map. If only he were here now to see how famous he was! :funny:

I saw where he was banned - any idea why?

Didnt somebody do this for another female poster last year? And she got freaked out and left the boards?

Hey, here's a special thanks for Anita!!!

Cut this out and put it on your board! Your # 1!!

Thank you Anita, you continue to be a person that is welcoming into this ARG that can be confusing. It takes patience and you are very much appreciated.

Miranda Fox, I believe. But I think people were sending her creepy PMs and stuff, and she had insider info, so it's different.

Nobody bothers to send me creepy PMs. :oldrazz: Except for that one pseudo-ninja dude, but I think he was sending everyone located in CA creepy PMs. :lmao:

THANK YOU ANITA!

If it weren't for you I probably wouldn't have participated in the viral. I learned about it back in December, for a loong time I had noticed the 'Viral Marketing' forum but always skipped it becaused I had no idea what it was and when I finally entered I felt like an idiot, I missed so much...but your Wikipage of all things Viral pretty much saved me. I was able to catch up and start participating, starting with the Dent stuff. Since then, when a day goes by and I'm not able to log on, I know where to go to catch up on the latest.
I may not know you personally but I am indeed grateful for all the hardwork you've done with the viral. So thanks! YOU ROCK!
...and I think this proves it- Girls rule! :applaud:

Are you talking about Miranda Fox? It wasn't just the appreciation that ran her away, it was the stalking. She had inside information and people were constantly bugging her about it. She eventually came back, once the stalking died down.

Thank you so very much, Anita! :yay: Your amazing ability to update as fast as possible and the work you put into the Wiki has helped a lot of us! Thanks so much!!!

Anita, I give you the biggest of props. Excellent work today and always. Keep it up girl. The game is not over yet. Hehehe :)

A Special Thanks Anita18.

I truly am going to miss all of this. The getting up at 6:00 am and quickly checking the wiki to see if I missed anything while I slept. The furtive checking during the day, when I am at work, occasionally blowing off the entire day to dial the same phone number over and over, trying to talk to some asinine concierge in person. Or stepping out of a meeting to check the wiki, knowing that if anything went down on any of the 50+ sites it would be there and I would not have to flip through all of them just to see if anything changed. Getting off work, checking in once again, then eating dinner, mowing the yard, whatever chores abounded, thinking all the while what the current puzzle meant or what the latest revelation might have in store for us. Once the family was in bed, staying up until 2:00 or 3:00 just to make sure I did not miss anything, or chasing some swag trade, or working with other members to make buttons, cards, shirts, stickers....., constantly flipping over to the wiki to check some fact or get a link to a website I wanted to check - and knowing, like it was a rule of nature - that it would be there to give up whatever piece of information I needed. So thank you from the bottom of my black heart, and thanks to everyone else whom I have met on this board and will continue to see in some shape or form, even if it is only in memories I mull over when I get much older.

I think a lot of us have given up a little bit of ourselves in one way or another over the year here, but I think that what we gain back will make us stronger and better people - just another reason why I have always liked Batman. Even though he is a ficitonal superhero with no superpowers, he sure moves the world for me - sometimes I find myself thinking "WWBD?" and let that guide my way.

Your work has been amazing and inspiring, well done indeed.

At the very least you should be able to get a sweet job out of your hard work.

Man, it looks like you guys are gonna scare her off again, like last time. :o :hehe:

Where would any of us be without Anita?
Thanks so much, Anita, for constantly working on that Wiki site. Without it, I'd be completely in the dark. Thanks so much!

Awww...I missed out on creepy PMs? :csad: :hehe:

But seriously Anita, you totally rock! :woot:

Like what last time? :oldrazz:

I would pop in every now and again to offer my opinions when a new comic book movie came out, but the TDK ARG made me stick around this time. :yay:

Awww...I missed out on creepy PMs? :csad: :hehe:
Hah, you don't have your location listed, which is why you didn't get a creepy PM. :oldrazz:

Hey quara, when are we gonna hang out again? I wanna hear about all the science-geekness you've been up to!

You are a gift to SHH and the viral, Anita. Thank you for all your hard work, the fast updates, the quick and helpful replies. If it weren't for you, we'd be getting countless "I haven't read any of the past pages and I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but did anyone think of this and that..." in all the viral threads when the games are happening. *chuckle*

And usually it's something that's been brought up at least twice before. Whenever that happens, we simply forward them to the Wiki. The Wiki - the answer to all your TDK viral related needs indeed!

I'm going to miss the viral terribly because it's half of the hype and the TDK madness for me. There won't be another movie in the future I'll be *this* excited about (not even close, oh my God!) and the TDK viral and the work you did on the Wiki page has been one of the highlights for me in the past year. Kudos to you. You've been a blessing.

Many thanks!

I am glad that you are so serious. I would have been totally lost without your Wiki-ness. Thanks for keeping me in the game. Are you any good at riddles? Think about the future. You rock!:word:

I think 42e should offer her a job.....the company is getting big they may need an archivist soon
