I meant....it's weird for someone who is religious, to get so worked up at the thought that someone is an athiest. I am a Babtist (you know, one of the groups portrayed as the most intolerant of other's beliefs).....and I have friends who are athiest, religious, and have no idea what to believe......it doesn't bother me....I find it wierd that it bothers others who proclaim to be religious to think this way.

Although, I blame their parents for passing on their insanity (not the belief in a deity, but the unnecessary stereotyping of that which is different from you) to them when they were younger, and their grammar teachers for not clarifying the difference between "fiction" and "non-fiction, "real" and "make-believe" (re: the outcry over Dan Brown's best-selling fiction novel which has been released as a Ron Howard movie with Tom Hanks)

The reason Religous people are less likely to be depressed is because they have given themselves a false scence of security. People think as long as they go to church they will be protected by evil so they have no stress.

Atheist people also arn't stressed because they arn't worried about forgiveness for there sins or the end of the world.

The two counteract each other making it impossible to get a good idea on which causes more stress

The title included that because that was the offical Atheist belief. If you read my posts you will see that I am not trying to start a flame war I also tolerate people of other religions but, i dont tolerate ignorance
