Where are his clothes?

And holy ****, he blew my mind. Yes, it was definitely way better than the sand VFXs from The Mummy.

Yes, it's a screencap from the SM3 teaser that hit online a few hours ago.

Thank you, God. LOL. I'm not calling you god, but thank god for the trailer. :spidey:

Sandman looks quite good but reminds me a little bit of the Mummy movies.

I knew that Sandman would look amazing! These screens prove it. Visually Amazing! I can't wait unitl we see some weapons that Sandman forms. Well people, what do you think of Sandman now? This just heightens my level of excitment.

Sandman looks awesome! Even greater and bigger than I thought

Sandman is the most visually amazing thing I have seen this year. I guess they could polish it up more, but if that was the final version, it would be fine with me.

this thread just shows how terrific of a villian sandman actually is, we wont be dissipointed

Thank you.

Sandman. I just can't wait. He'll be amazing to see on the silver screen. What they did with Doc Ock visually in the second movie was amazing. Just think what they can do with Sandman. Just beautiful.

What would be cooler? Sandman crushing Spidey within himself in a large hunk of sand that he'll probably swing himself out of, or the black suit crushing and soffocating him with no way of escaping, except for loud noises (and hopefully not fire)? Visually I am more excited to see the black costume's effects in such ways that make Raimi's dark action movies so good. It will make Sandman seem like child's play, because I'm guessing the suit will have a profound effect on Spidey's overall power, and it's perfect for the Raimi mood!

I agree. Without the symbiote, Spidey will get crushed, but with the symbiote, Spidey will crush anything and everything.

I agree that sandman looked amazing in the teaser and i have no problem with what he looks like now but i guess they could always improve

-i wonder if he is so huge in the trailer because he is coming out of the sand&stone dump truck?
-will he be that big without extra sand to command?
-will his powers be limited to controlling the sand around him?
-would this mean he cannot actually turn himself to sand, and only make a version of himself using nearby sand?
-this would sort of make him more of a telekentic being able to manipulate the sand into shapes and forms
-this would also mean that if spidey punches/attacks a sand creature it wouldn't really be hurting flint himself
-just some points to consider
-jubba out

come on...what isn't spectacular about a sandperson...er...sandman!?

Spider-Man 3 is shaping up to be a classic. I don't hear alot of Sandman on these boards. I wonder why? He is the main villain of Spider-Man 3, and the biggest threat to Spidey in the movies so far. We probably won't get Venom until the end, and maybe just for 10 minutes.

I've been having this, its not an idea but, something about Sandman. In this movie, can you imagine the impact he will have? Visually and on the story of Spider-Man 3. I wonder what Sam has in store for us when, come May 4, we take our seats in the movie theatre and experience what Sandman will look like when he is attacking Spidey with sand. Can you just imagine Spider-Man dodging sand? Jumping from building to building. It will look amazing, in short ladies and gents. What weapons will Sandman use to destory, or hurt Spidey? Sandman can mold into anything. Can Spidey even match up to Sandman without the help of the symbiote suit? I think, to be realistic, that Venom will be Sandman's undoing. What do you guys see? I'd love to hear your thoughts, your fresh expertese.

See, the bold text are things that should have been attributed when spidey fought doc ock but on a much larger nd more impressive scale. Imo, Doc Ock is the only villain that really challenges and brings out the best of all of spider-man's abilities, physically and mentally. All this dodging and ricocheting around is something there should have been excess of in spider-man 2.

Yeah, I agree with you. They should have had Doc Ock do more with his arms. They could have done it too.

What attcks does anyone see that Sandman will do? He'll probably make weapons and stuff. But just imagine what it will look like when he travels. He can make his sand jump, from one place to another. I hope we get to see something like that.
