The Audience Reaction Thread

On Friday, I'm expecting a near empty theater, which is what I want. Most likely those are the fans coming back to watch it again.

But I can't wait to watch it at home by myself, it's something, whereas it's complexity and what it deals with I can only appreciate by myself and not have the thought of someone next to me either impatient or not enjoying it. The DC will make that more so.

Went in a fairly empty theatre. 20-30 people max.

Pretty much no laughter at blue dong.

Many enjoyed Rorshach for comments on obesity and reality of prison life.

Sex scene was fairly long. Watched with father after getting him copy of book. Less awkward than I'd imagined. More than I like, however.

I went to see it on IMAX last weekend and I was surprised to see that the theater was pretty packed as if it was opening weekend. I was expecting it to be nearly empty on the second week.

The only time I remember the audience reacting to anything was when:

The alley fight with Nite Owl II/Silk Spectre II vs. the gang. Everyone said "Ouch!" and "Damn!" when Nite Owl II snapped that dude's arm.

Rorschach fighting with the inmate in the chow line. Everyone busted out laughing and clapping when Rorschach threw that hot grease on the inmate.

i noticed alot of people in my theatre laughed at thatpathetic scene where stupd laurie jumps out of the jet and does that floor flip thing completely unneccessarily.

Thank God, no laughter at the junk this time. No bad reaction at any time. All was smooth.
