All my theatre got was silence....and not the good silence.

Not Impressed silence. :(.. No love for 'The INCREDIBLE Hulk'

O_o care to explain how you have impressed or unimpressed silence? (Just curious, like, did you see their faces or what?)

For me people in my theaters simply never react. Only time I've ever heard reactions was for the third pirates film. What losers we have here. :csad:

How are they "******ed?" This is supposed to be the kind of trailer that makes everyone forget the last film, and that's being hampered by a persistent lack of finished footage.

No offense Chibi, but we should all know for a fact that the general public doesn't care about shoddy CG. They go see and enjoy films regardless (I Am Legend.)

Really if they are not impressed, they are simply not impressed with the film itself. I doubt any non-movie-nit-picker really gives two flying Dutchmen about the CG and if they do I highly doubt it's going to break the experience for them.

Then again, there will be people who complain no matter what. When I came out of Cloverfield some 14 year old kid said he could have done the CG in his basement... :o

******ed as in "slow" to react to the trailer. Not ******ed as in stupid. Gosh, you are slow. And who really cares about the extent of the cgi anymore. You guys waste so much energy on something that is pointless regarding peoples reactions. :whatever: LL is trying to do the best movie possible and all you do is complain and for what? It won't change anything. He says sorry to disappoint btw, as he reads these forums too. Are you unhappy with the trailer? Don't go see it, simple. My point is if you are going to go see the movie then its a moot point to whine about something you have no creative control over. Fact.

Damn right.

We're lucky to be getting another Hulk movie and all people complain about is the fact that in certain shots a heavily muscled 9 foot green man doesn't look quite real.

Count your blessings. LL could make an action sequence with two old guys jousting with walking sticks on motorised carts seem exciting, Norton loves the character and is a top drawer actor so this thing is in good hands.

All the whiners will be first in line to buy a ticket anyway, probably fumbling to find 10 dollars in their wallet because they turned up at the theater wearing their Hulk Hands.

well said EB. im sick to death of all the nay sayers. all i want is hulk to act like hulk and look like hulk. so far the re-design is much more comic like and thats all i care about. i have no problem with any of the cg, its good enough to keep me happy. im a huge hulk fan first before cg fan.

I don't understand why you guys are even debating the point. LL said the CGI wasn't finished. A minor few posters are complaining that they don't like what??? 'the unfinished product'.

It's not even worth speaking on it to them. Double L is an awesome director, which will soon be known world wide. The people in the theater that I saw Iron Man in the second time loved what the saw as well as what most others have stated.

So who cares that 3 or 4 people want to argue 'unfinished CGI'?

Chatter seemed curious and interested during my 2nd and 3rd viewings of Iron Man.

best post I've read in awhile. Couldn't have said it better myself.

My theater crowd is always silent because that's how small town audiences usually are. We just want to get to the movie pronto.

I saw the trailer in Rolling Hills, California (near Los Angeles) in front of a packed audience, and there was the same result.

Thank you JJ. Let me add something. The poster who PMed me regarding my "******ed" comment should realize that in my follow-up post I explained my point without confusion. Please refrain from PMing me if you don not understand the post or its content. My opinion regarding CGI is still the same. It is a fruitless thread after a while because we cannot change anything about the movie. LL's vision is what we will see. The same went with Ang Lee. He did what he did and while all the nay sayers whined and cried, they swiped those debit cards at the movies. Same will happen June 13th. After you are done complaining, you will just head to the movies and plunk down your money. Who knows, we might be standing next to eachother. My point is I feel this thread has gotten way too much use for a redundant and moot point. If the thread could've, wouldve changed stuff, that would be different, but it won't. Just sit back and enjoy it June 13th, or not.

to anyone whos seen the new trailer that opened with speed racer how was the audience reaction?i want to see it bad

hahahahahahaha^^^^ouch......at my theater, the preview came on before iron man and everyone was talking softly until norton got locked in the glass room, then it got pindrop quiet, and everyone saw his hands transform and lots of guys said things like "oh sh%$, the hulk". all in all no one in my theater saw it coming that this was an incredible hulk movie, which i think made them like it more

I am looking forward to the new hulk movie. it seems i am the only one i know who is. It looks much more better then 03 and he actually willl have a fight scene

No one really reacted to the trailer in my town except for me and my buddy. We definitely got pumped. It seems like a darker tone, but will not be too cerebral. I hope the trailer isn't too misleading.

It seems the trailers for Marvel's movies can be a little off. I thought Spider-Man 3 would be darker than what it was, but it seemed pretty campy in a lot of areas. I thought FF2 would be a little darker. It was, but nothing like what I thought it would be. At least Iron Man showcased it would be a fun movie, which is what it was. Even the trailer for X3 gave a tone of a darker movie. While many believe X3 wasn't what they'd thought it be, it still was a pretty dark movie, despite the occasional quip.

On that thought, maybe I should go hide in a corner.

I just went to see Speed Racer. Indy trailer got some attention, but the trailer that got the most buzz was TIH. It was the "Most Powerful Superhero on Earth" trailer. Immediately when the Marvel logo came up, I heard murmurs and a little kid's voice said "Hulk!".....before it even got into the trailer!! That tells you something right there. When it was over, there was a buzz in the auditorium and I heard someone say "cool". Guys, this movie is starting to finally generate some heat with the public!
As for Speed racer...I sat through 15 minutes and decided I couldn't take another 2 hours. I found my ticket stub and walked out of the auditorium just as what looked like a technician for the projectors was closing the door. I asked him if I could get a refund, I told him I used to watch the cartoon as a kid, and he agreed the movie was nothing like that. His expression was like I was far from the first person to walk out of it. LOL. I didn't see the movie, but at least got to see the Hulk trailer on the big screen for free.
On my way out, I did snap a couple of pics of the Hulk Statue in the lobby. Holy crap, that thing is sweet!!

mostly groans, some laughter and a guy behind saying"That looks like garbage"
