.....The FantheFire reviewer liked Green Lantern. Nuff said.
But while Thor lacks an arc, he has the film's funniest line, best entrance and seems to be a big part of all the film's best fights. He's a badass here in ways Kenneth Branagh never dreamed of.
Guys, come on. He's allowed not to like it. Look, Green Lantern is not a good movie in the slightest, but I enjoy watching it. There's just some moments in that film that just click for me...and that's just the nature of film criticism.
Some things work for a particular person. That same thing might not work for another. Who's right?
The thing about that guy is that he wants the scorn. He's hit ****ing for his site. But the guy deserves heaps of scorn for the baiting quality of that review. Good lord, the whole "fanboys will only SAY they like it" thing? It doesn't get much more childish than that. I have a particular problem with people whose arguments consist of "I didn't like it and nobody else is allowed to have liked it either".
But apparently the reviewers for Variety and The Hollywood Reporter are fanboys who are just saying they liked it in order to maintain their fanboy cred! Who knew?

And I hate saying that usually, I cringed when people accused that first rotten writer of it, but his pull quote for RottenTomatoes is enormously telling
"Sorry fanboys, we hated this one too." = "Come at me, bro."

I. Loved. That. Review. Neill Cumpston's amazing.
According to my calculations I don't expect this movie to see north of 95% again.
Neil Cumpston is Patton Oswalt's alter ego, I believe.
Just thought I'd clear something up: Green Lantern was awesome.
You are correct.
