Infinity War The AVENGERS INFINITY WAR OFFICIAL SPOILER Thread - Part 1

Hulk is in the movie but for a few minutes. He go hulk smash on Thanos and get beaten easily and never want to come out after that! LOL
Everytime Banner try to turn into Hulk, Hulk yells no LOL like a toddler afraid of closet monsters

The Hulk is basically a kid. A really powerful kid, but still a kid. Makes a lot of sense.

Kind of doubt Red Skull will appear again. He served his purpose with the stone.

It'd be funny if they had to go back there for some reason and Cap saw him there as was just as confused as the rest of us are.

I hope we finally get a Hulk/Banner conversation somehow in the next one before he fully unleashed.

What did Strange mean when he said "Tony, it was the only way." after people start turning to ash? How does letting Thanos kill half the universe allow them to ultimately defeat him? Does the film indicate how this might be accomplished, or are we just left to wonder what he meant?

That's up for speculation right now. They didn't explicitly explain or show indication of meaning of that sentence. I mean, it's clear they don't want to spoil the suspence...

That would actually be hilarious, Steve wouldn't have a clue what the hell was going on.

Wouldn't dismiss it actually. The Other is dead. The Black Order are dead. Thanos may need a new minion.

It's the spoiler thread, no need to worry about the tags. That would certainly be interesting, if Red Skull is now free.

Has it been confirmed if it's Weaving doing it, or not? I didn't recognize the voice to be him

It's kind of a force of habit to use the tag even in spoiler threads. It would be great so see more of him. It's either a (very) good impersonator or the man himself.

When Cap catches the spear and steps out of the shadows does the Avengers theme from Avengers 1 play or has Silvestri done something new with the theme?

So will 4 be a more tactical film now? Or is it another massive brawl again next time just this time with them winning?

I'm the clip one internet I remember now the themes from the first one plays, I didn't sound like there were any changes.

I think the fact that weaving agreed to come back for this one means there is a possibility he could return for the next.

Real shame we have to wait a year.

A Christmas release would work.

Yeah it's good to be safe, especially since so many haven't seen the film yet. I would love to see more too, he was striking in those few minutes, whoever played the bit.

I also think they should have tried for a Christmas release so that Ant man and Wasp wouldnt be stuck between these two films. It's just out of place. Here in Infinity War we have this emotionally gut wrenching ending. Death and devastation. Half the universe is murdered by Thanos. Planes and helicopters are falling from the sky all over the earth. Driverless cars are crashing. Killing even more people. It's the sort of thing that many on earth would mistake for a religious apocalyptic event. There would be disorder chaos and riots and worldwide government breakdowns. Basically the world should be in a minor or major system collapse after the events of Infinity War. And Marvel follows this up with a light hearted action romp with Ant Man and Wasp. Which probably takes place before the events of Infinity War. And that is followed by Avengers 4.

Makes no damn sense.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if Wasp and Ant-Man don't even defeat Ghost, and instead she'll just vanish because of the snap?

Don't hold me to this but I'm sure I've read its set before infinity war.

Which is another ridiculous thing. Will confuse GA members.

I'm hoping the next film is a cosmic story with the original avengers having to leave earth to hunt Thanos down. I'm also hoping there is a time jump. My current thinking is Avengers 4 opens years after the events of Infinity War and Tony and the survivors have been spending that time preparing and healing and researching how to hunt down Thanos and undo the damage and bring everyone back. Ultimately they will succeed and the film will end with them defeating Thanos and those years that passed between Infinity War and Avengers 4 will be erased.

Marvel is so meticulous with these films, it's really hard to imagine Ant-Man and the Wasp not fitting in. It's coming out really soon too. After this bag of crazy, nothing could possibly be more boring than a filler episode.

Avengers 4 is basically EVERYONE vs Thanos.

I just wonder if the snap victims will return before Thanos is defeated. Or if they have to defeat him in order to bring them back.

Yeah just checked on wiki, set before iw but after cw.

Will be crap if they have to defeat him first as that means so many heroes out of commission.

I think its possible, it condenses it more and gives focus to the bigger players ei tony, cap, thor, hulk etc.

Also gives cap and tony one last hurrah before they ride off into the sunset although personally if tony isn't gonna move into a director of shield type role I think both should probably be given heroic send off deaths, neither of those 2 would give up what they do.

Did you watch the movie? If not then the movie more than made up for the absent of that scene.

No offense to what you just stated, but I’m a Hulk fan. The only reason I go is to see the Hulk. So there is no possible way the movie can make up for that scene not being there for me. That’s honestly false advertising.
They straight up lied to the fans. Hopefully A4 makes up for it, but again, I’m not holding my breath on that one.

No doubt this will probably be a solid film though, but there is nothing in this one that I care to see.

Hulk fan but not a fan of Bruce? And characters development?
