Absolutely no offense meant to you in particular, but I've been seeing this a lot. "I go for this character or that character... and no one else matters.
I just don't get that thinking. I'm a Captain America fan, but if he died to service the story, then he does. He's a fictional character. What do I care if he lives or dies, as long as he is well used? I can always rewatch old movies, and I'm under no illusion that he or any character will last forever.
It's just strange to me that the only reason you'd go is one character... who is just a really strong brute type character at the end of the day. It's not like you're going to see Hulk's interesting insights or how he grows as a person. It's just the bang, bang, smash smash? If it's more than that, then I would think you'd love the Bannon/Hulk dynamic in this movie. It's new, and demonstrates development with the character.
I guess it's the difference between going because you're a comic book fan than if you were going to enjoy a movie. I really don't care if Captain America says "Avengers assemble" or whatever.. as long as it all comes together to make a satisfying movie. Right? I mean... that's the most important thing, yeah? The actual story and emotions that happen. Not one character.
