What was the credits theme in infinity war with the black Screen and the Name of the actors in White letters?
Was it "Infinity War" from the tracklist? I was too shocked to get Attention to that.

Gotta hand it to Marvel, I gave zero F's about Captain Marvel's movie, I mean, I was gonna probably see it anyway, but really had no emotional investment in it. And now, just like that, they've made Carol's movie the most important thing ever and I am hyped af for it now. Captain Marvel has now become our only hope. But how?

I don't think that Danvers is the only hope left. Doctor Strange made it very clear that Stark is essential to defeating Thanos when he traded the Time Stone for Tony's life. She has her part to play, just like everyone else, but it probably won't be a deus ex Kree at the bitter end.

Yeah "Infinity War" is the track that plays during that first portion of credits.

I think Tony is the end game and it's going to mean his death, but Danvers will be a huge part of helping him achieve that end game. Have a feeling it's going to mean time travelling back to the battle of New York.

That's Tony's destiny. The issues he's held about that battle. Strange saving him even though he said he wouldn't because he saw the one scenario they won. Cap saying not one life is worth the sacrifice...but Tony will realise it is.

Tony does say that Thanos has been with him ever since the NY attack in Avengers.

We see in IM3 Tony is plagued by NY and then in AoU again we see NY is focused on as to why Tony wanted to have the Ultron program become a success.

Saw this little detail on tv tropes that I didn't think about. The reason why Spider-Man was the only person to freak out before turning to dust is because his spider sense was going crazy before it happened and he knew he was going to before he started to turn.

Does that mean Fury also had spider-sense?

Remember, Strange said he would not hesitate to let them die to keep the stone, then later says to Tony "This was the only way." Does he mean allowing Thanos to complete the Gauntlet, or saving Tony's life? Or both. I think it is both. So I am in agreement.

Nah. The reason was much more human. He noticed before, but he freaked because at the end of the day, he is just a kid, afraid to die.

Ned must take on the mantle of Spider-Man, even with both suits gone.

Strange had to know the snap was happening. I do think Wong survived the snap though, the team needs a sorcerer and it would be the easiest way to get Stark and Nebula off the planet.

Both for sure.

I'm still stunned at this movie. There was so much that could've gone wrong... but they got it so right.

It's not a perfect film... but it is the perfect version of THIS film. I can't see how something of this magnitude could've been done better. Splitting all this heroes into trio's and quartets was genius.

And Thanos. There was always this inkling in the back of my mind that Marvel were flattering to deceive. That he could never match the build up and hype. But damn did they deliver. Imposing, intelligent, thoughtful... almost sympathetic but not quite. Just an unbelievable portrayal of a great villain. Credit to not only the directors and writers, but to Brolin. His delivery and physical acting brought the Mad Titan to life.

I wonder if we will get some scenes of where the snapped heroes went. They are "Dead" but where do they go after that limbo, Hel, Valhalla(maybe they changed it up not only for Asgardians), Ghost alternate world where they are on their side and can see the other heroes, etc?

Maybe both, or maybe Thanos was going to complete the Gauntlet any way, in every future he saw, but the only one when the heroes succed is the one when he trades the stone for Stark...

Maybe there is something even further in Dr Strange plans... maybe the Infinity Gauntlet crisis is the catalyst (like in the comics) to prevent the stones from ever working together again, in the hands of someone even worst than Thanos, and that's why he gave it up.

Like the soul gem? I like that. Adam Warlock use to put people there. Maybe Thanos was fooled into thinking he was killing them...

That can work, he seems haunted by little Gamora in that dimension. Soul stone took the most difficult sacrifice but what is the actual upside to it? Seems to be the stone what will always remind the holder of guilt. Everyone can be in that Soul stone.

The thing that surprised me was how many "died".

But then again, if it wasn't Civil War, the Avengers wouldn't have been as fractured and could have stopped Thanos as a united front. But with Iron Man going off doing his own thing and not communicating at all to Cap... I mean how can you stop someone with an infinity stone or two if you can't even rely on your own teammates to commit to a plan?

Everyone in Iron Man's side was arguing and not listening... it was pretty obvious throughout the movie how Thanos should've been stopped but couldn't. At least Cap's side felt more like the Avengers than whatever Iron Man's team had going.

Consider that Falcon,Widow, and Cap have been working as a team since Cap 2. Warmachine has been a member since the end of AoU. Bucky has known Cap his whole life. Thor was doing his own thing because he was the most powerful. Black Panther has commands that whole army so they already know. Wanda has been with the team since AoU. They have more experience together.

Stark just met everyone and he does not fight with Parker on a regular basis. His team was no different than how the OGs were in Avengers 1.

Hank Pym and a part of Gamora are currently trapped in the soul gem in the ongoing Infinity countdown comics.

When are people going to realize that the movies are not going to follow the comic books exactly?

If Mandarin turned out to be a British guy who was a drunk actor, I don't think Feige is concerned with keeping power levels the same.

Iron Man 3 writer Drew Pearce revealed a more faithful version of Mandarin exists in All Hail The King just to appease the fans mad about Iron Man 3. Feige definitely cares about keeping the fans on side.

I don't think anyone should be expecting a 100% faithful adaptation of stuff from the comics.

I enjoy Marvel comics but there is a lot of dated material and down right goofy or convoluted stuff from the comics that just wouldn't work in the films.

Marvel is on a hot streak but not even they could make a watchable movie out of something like The Crossing arc.

I think that place Thanos appears in at the end with little Gamora is the Soul Stone. She is the only one there.
