Iron Fist's movie is already headed in the right direction. With the script taking in part from Immortal Iron Fist, they have the perfect source material to translate it to the big screen. Not to mention the series itself works perfectly for a trilogy.

That clip is clearly leading up to Tony Stark's talk with Ross.

At least this proves TIH is still canon, since they mention Blonsky.

It'd be more clever if they didn't mention Tony as a consultant in Iron Man 2.

While... i agree with that sentiment... Luke Cage is also no Captain America. Also... Luke Cage has a very very large chance of coming off like a movie geared souly for the african-american community to the general audience. I think Disney is being smart about introducing him on Jessica Jones's show to show the general audience that he's more than that stereotypical perception.

Marvel haven't had the buddy movie yet, so that's an untapped mine. Both Power Man and Iron Fist's individual books were failing in the 70s, but when they were combined they became a powerhouse and more of a top tier combo. On their own they're just C or D listers, but together they're more B listers with the potential to become A listers.

I would rather see a 70s period piece for those two though. They would fit that period so well and it would set that movie apart from just another standard comic book movie. X-Men first class and Captain America proved that comic book movies could be done effectively as period pieces and those two probably stand out more than the average comic film.

Mockingbird's getting a TV series, and Blonsky is insane.

Plus, Punisher doesn't exactly play well with others.

Also, putting Luke Cage on a team without Iron Fist isn't as good an idea as, say, putting Luke Cage on a team with Iron Fist.

I would be against that. I don't want Cap being tied down as an agent for S.H.I.E.L.D. He should be his own man much like Iron Man and Thor.

Although I'm not keen on it either, they might need a new subtitle if countries like Russia and South Korea continued to reject the movie title of Captain America. It's ridiculous, but Marvel might be forced to do it anyway.
