I love the thought of the Avengers needing to split up and handle threats all over the world and having to come together and fight as a group in the end. Cap in New York, Thor and Black Widow in Germany, etc.

That sounds almost like that Avengers issue where Iron Man, Cap and Black Panther had to try to defuse these bombs planted all over the world and had to split up. I don't know why there weren't any other Avengers around at the time, but there you go.

This could be a possible spoiler, but just a theory for now. Okay, so we know there were reports of Scarlett on set today, but not pics to prove it. However, someone did upload a video claiming it was her filming http://www.twitvid.com/ZUGP8 If you look closely, evidently the chick is not a redhead...and not wearing the catsuit. Well, a close Twitter buddy watching the shoot believes that that is Scarjo, but in disguise as a blond waitress for the scene. My buddy says they'll upload closeup pics after work, so I can see if it's in fact Scarjo. That'd be cool, keeping the Russian Spy aspect of the character alive.

Hey guys. Can someone sum up what we know of this film? Will Panther be in it?

If true, then :awesome:

I'm all for some spy encounters with the Black Widow. Not sure I buy it just from that report, but I hope it's true.

so wats the exact date and time marvel panel is being held at D23?

Someone just tweeted that they saw CA get thrown out of a third-story window.

Not sure what this means, but theres a [BLACKOUT]Black Tie Gala [/BLACKOUT] scene.

Probably some sort of Stark fundraiser, or a scene similar to the one in The Ultimates where Fury re-introduces Cap to the general public.

Rewatched the trailer. Maria Hill is pursuing someone in what's either a subway or a dirty base (there's a sign that says "LEVEL 4" on the wall). She also jumps into a car at the end.

Also, there's some kind of HUGE missile being fired by black-suited agents with either Widow or Loki trying to intercept it.

Trailer as in from the actual teaser trailer (end of Cap's film)?

Kang!!!! :p

Kang_the_Conqueror_(Earth-6311)_003.jpg

For the record, I was the one who did that scan and edit.

As for his face, Kang basically looks like Liam Neeson under his mask.

He is human I believe, so without helmet he has a normal human face. There have also been several who have taken the alias of Kang(Theres actually a whole council of them :)).

"Nathaniel Richards was a scholar born in the 30th century of an alternate, more advanced timeline of Earth-616. Bored with the perfection of his society, Richards became fascinated with history and discovered the time travel technology created by one of his ancestors, Victor Von Doom. Richards then traveled back in time to ancient Egypt c. 2950 B.C., in a Sphinx-shaped timeship, and became the Pharaoh Rama-Tut, with intentions of claiming En Sabah Nur — the mutant destined to become Apocalypse — as his heir. He was briefly blinded in a crash, but a radioactive herb restores his sight after he scares the natives by firing his ray-gun. Richards's rule lasts until being driven off after a defeat at the hands of the time-displaced heroes of the 20th century, the Fantastic Four, who had travelled back in time after seeing a record of a cure for blindness, which they hope to get for Alicia Masters, (with some help from a time-traveling Doctor Strange and Khonshu). The Fantastic Four are placed under mind-control by Kang's Ultra-Diode Ray; he makes the Invisible Girl his Queen, puts the Thing to work on the ship, places Mister Fantastic as a lookout for his armies, and makes the Human Torch his court jester. But Doctor Strange turns the Thing back freeing him from the ray's control; he frees the Invisible Woman as he begins turning back, who frees the Torch then the Thing, and the Torch frees Reed. They get into the Sphinx, but Kang escapes into time. He returns to rule, and encounters the time-traveling West Coast Avengers."

Dude has ties to both Dr. Doom and Apocalypse......how much more badassery could one have? :oldrazz:

Kang is human. He's basically the convergence of the Richards and Doom blood lines, being a direct descendent of both Doom and Reed's father, Nathaniel.

Anyone who says "Kang sucks", go read Avengers Forever or the Kang Dynasty. Kang is a legitimate Avengers team villain, and imo has way more of a right to be in this film than Kree or Skrulls. Saying Kang doesn't belong in any avengers film is like saying "Well, we'll skip out on Magneto in the X-Men films..."

I'd love to see Thanos being The Emperor Palpatine of the movie with the invaders acting as multiple Darth Vaders. Cap & Hulk take on the shocktroops, Thor goes after Loki and then Tony & Fury make their way to the throne room where the mad titan awaits... gives me chills.

Iron Man and Nick Fury would get decimated by Thanos in a hearbeat.

That really did look painful. Movie magic at its best
