That's where I take the various threads of information to point to; the more generic the threat, the easier it is to focus on the main characters. In most alien invasion films, the main characters interact with a single entity of the invading race about 5 times at the most. The rest is various ship/mothership scenes and sequences.

exactly.. which is why to me ... the Kree and Skrulls make far more sense than Inhumans, or Guardian's of the Galaxy

Wolvie, I'm done trying to convince you. You don't wanna believe me? WHO CARES. I don't lose a thing from you not listening. This is the problem with you, you let your skepticism dominate your ability to reason (calling me a "loon" and making me out to be a liar when I've never posted bold statements like Chewy). And yes, you suffer from the message board "klik" decease where you'll take the side of veteran members during arguments even if they sound completely wrong & biased (spideyboy just called me a 12-year-old again because he's mad at the idea of it really being THE INHUMANS). I'm done with this pointless effort to convince people. Gmanca at least can read between the lines & I'm sure others will too. Now I'll do what I was doing before I read your replies which is CELEBRATE this delicious bit of information we were given. I trust the source & I'll expect Marvel to officially announce it. Then let's see what you come up with to repudiate all that I've said in this convo.

that's alot of "no name aliens" who all are certain characters (totally not the Inhuman royal family (no females there), and have distinct personalities...

There's not enough information in that photo to say those actors are any different from a bunch of Martians grouped around the Army in Mars Attacks.

It could very easily be a bunch of generic Inhumans who corner the heroes and say "[MAIN INHUMAN] will be pleased with what we've caught."

technically i didn't call you a 12 year old.. you did that the other night. I said "no wonder why he thinks i think he's a 12 year old"

but you've thus made me realize this nifty feature on the hype.. where i can completely block you out. And.. thus will be using it from now on... well, until the movie comes out and then ill do a happy dance :)

Given what I can make out of the photo, Thor doesn't seem to be in his battle armor since the fabric that he's wearing seems to be, rather plain.lol

I hope this doesn't mean though that we won't be getting any Thor-with-chainmail on his arms battle scenes because I really want to see him don that suit again, at least just once.

well.. they do all have the same "staffs" so .. one could assume they have the same weaponry

I'm very curious to see as to what these "aliens" will look like since it appears that their looks will entirely be comprised of CGI.

So unlike the Frost Giants, or apparently the comic book looks of the Skrulls, these "things/beings" won't supposedly have any organic substances to their bodies?

Gmanca, its pointless to attempt a solid discussion with Spideyboy. In his head, THE INHUMANS can't be in this film. He just threatened to put me on his ignore list out of rage from the possibility that they are the invading force. That shows how utterly biased & stubborn the guy is. You seem very reasonable and this guy just isn't.

Still not seeing any 'news'. We were believing a supposed 'script leak' last week, now it's a 'phantom edit'?

Standards are slipping.

btw.. just so people know, there's 9 "aliens" in that picture

Yes, and the last time I checked, The Inhumans had a helluva lot less than 9 members. Plus, until some dog shows up on the set with mocap sensors on him to play Lockjaw, I ain't buyin' it.

In fact, this photo right here pretty much proves ONCE AND FOR ALL that Cap and Thor are fighting someone OTHER than The Inhumans.

Good god. Sanity left this thread about 24 hours ago...

I'm just sick of coming on here and seeing people claim they know this, that and the other but refusing to reveal what exactly it is they know! It's a power thing, and an EGO thing. It would be like me opening an account here, telling you all that I read the leaked script and stringing you along saying, "Oh, it's not that, but it might be something else" over and over.

If MarvelFreshman and Poni Boy were so confident in their sources, they'd be posting it on their respective websites. Not coming on a forum for discussion and lording it over everyone when the fact is they probably know **** all. It's arrogance, and it's BORING. If you know something, share it, if you don't, keep it to yourself.

Quoted. For. Truth.

Enough of PoniBoy and MarvelFreshman's coy little cat-and-mouse game. "I've got a secret....but I can't tell you." Okay, fine --- keep it to yourselves, then. There's hundreds and hundreds of pages of speculation on who the villains are and I *GUARANTEE* you that AT LEAST ONE OF US has said the right answer (even if that answer means a completely brand-new set of villains that were invented by Joss himself) on AT LEAST ONE occasion. So quit trying to act like you guys still hold this great secret that you're "surprised" that no one has been able to "figure out" yet.

Y'know, I seen me a mermaid once. I even seen me a shark eat an octopus. But I ain't never seen no phantom Russian submarine.

So then this entire list of Inhumans from Wiki, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Inhumans , would be completely invalid in your opinion? Because there are a whole hell of a lot more than 9 on that list.

I don't really care one way or the other but I do think it should have been said outright from Marvel Freshman that something was posted but he deleted it because for some reason or another. And if that reason was that the information was not to be revealed, compromised a source, could break an NDA, then that should have been relayed to Alexei for a request in deleting.

haha, gotta love lockjaw. but to be fair, the royal family (the "team" of inhumans if you will) consists of 7 (if you count there on again off again villain brother "maximus", and don't count lockjaw) but the race of inhumans is pretty large. there's probably currently more inhumans than mutants currently in the MU

but yes, i agree with everything else

Luna, Ahura are just children... and Lockjaw is a dog... but yeah there's more than just the royal family.. though the others are all very obscure.. and again "are living weapons" thus not needing weapons...

and marvel freshman (if he posted such news) deleting it doesnt help. Mods can view deleted posts... and when you put something out here on the internet it's actually out here forever.

Hmm, some are listed as having abilities such as just "superhuman strength;" many Marvel characters have a weapon that go along with their abilities.

I'm just willing to let all of the information, good or bad, be considered because only until it's released by a prominent site or from Marvel itself, there's not a complete possibility of it being wrong.

Look whose on set!

Hell yes!

Someone mentioned this earlier, but think about this. You know how in CA:TFA they took some members' names from the Invaders, and mixed them with the Howling Commandos; with that actually being their name. Same will likely be done for The Avengers' villains. Any alien-villains' background can be altered as an "Inhuman" simply for the movie. This is why I was telling Alexei not to get so excited by a name.

I repeat, Thor's on set with Cap, on more motion-capture guys.

I wish people would stop bickering and pay more attention to things like this.

Thor! Finally. And he has bare arms (which he has a right to, of course).
