From the descriptions (with Banner being zapped, and not Hulking out), and the fact that he hasn't Hulked out in 2 years, I think it's safe to say He's gained enough control over the monster.

Hmm... I thought about what Selvig said in Thor, how he knew Banner & when SHIELD subdued him, he'd never heard from him again. But at the same time, during the Incredible Hulk, Bruce is still on the run...

Maybe he just hasnt heard from him since shield got involved like he said. lol. Or maybe he just thinks that shield got him. Or banner has been in shield custody before and escaped. and selvig hasnt heard from him since

If I understand the timeline right, Selvig made that comment around the time Banner was still in Brazil, or around the Culver University incident. Either way, as far as Selvig was concerned, Banner hadn't resurfaced yet. I could be wrong.

Thor's breaking into Shield Make headquarters trying to get hammer are around the time
of the events of Bruce and Betty seeing sterns and The Abmorination being unleashed on
New York.

Iron Man 2,The Incredible Hulk,and Thor all take place close to same time.If Banner
hadn't hulked out for 2 years at the start of the Avengers It takes place 2 years after
those films.Unknown when the present day scenes of Captain america take place.It could
be a short time before the Avengers.

I don't get why some people are complaining about the way Rogers is talking to Stark in the few scenes we've heard/seen.

Stark is obviously pissing him off something fierce with his 'don't give a ****' attitude. Rogers is the exact opposite of Stark personality wise.

Sounds fantastic. Also, we can now see that the shots in the trailer of Banner entering the house and slamming his fists on the table in India are a part of this scene.
