If Jeremy as Hawkeye steals the show then something will be terribly wrong with the movie, imo. I hope it doesn't happen.
I hate Ang Lee's Hulk, but I've beaten that dead horse way too many times to explain why again.

I wouldn't be surprised. Renner is an amazing actor.
Hawkeye was always a fun character in the comic books. He can be equally fun on screen if they give him the right dialog and a whole lot of swagger.
If Hawkeye steals the show it'll be because Renner pwns.
Just going to put this out there- Hawkeye.Is.A.Legend.

The only thing that I hope for in the movie is that the Avengers decide to form apart from Shield using Stark's resources. I don't want them being a tool of Shield.
No, they'll all be Hulkamaniacs![]()
Yeah I disagree with Feige there unless this movie is rated R and he starts putting arrows through aliens necks and eyballs then no, Renner or anybody else for that matter can not steal the show with a bow and arrow

I could see that happening but I don't think Nick Fury and SHIELD would go away completely.
He sure did. And that was a pg13 movie.Orlando Bloom as Legolas seemed to do pretty well with his bow and arrows.![]()
Fury and SHIELD can still exist even if The Avengers become independent of them, and I hope at the end of the movie, both BW and Hawkeye will officially become members of The Avengers and not just SHIELD agents.

I've been reading the character of Nick Fury in the comics for 46 years......in only the last few of those has he sometimes been Sam Jackson in the comics....so, even though I like Sam Jackson as an actor, and think he is doing good in the role so far....count me in as one of those that wants to see more of Cap, Thor, BW, Iron Man, Hawkeye, and Nick Fury from the comics than of Sam Jackson being Sam Jackson. Not seeing the problem with Sam Jackson playing Sam Jackson, he's fantastic.
!" I mean that would be cinematically ironic and hilarious.I would also dig seeing somewhere at the end the Avengers decide to go about it on their own independent of SHIELD, but I wouldn't expect it. I think they are keeping it in the Ultimates style.
I mean how funny would that be that Fury comes up with and forms the Avengers and they instead stick it to him and go like, "Yeah good idea, we'll do it ourselves with you, nyah!" I mean that would be cinematically ironic and hilarious.
I can understand that, but I'd think Marvel has taken that into account and will probably feature some awesome Hawkeye moments in the movie that will make people understand why 'just a dude with a bow and arrow' is on the team.I think Hawkeye is ok...but he's my least favorite Avenger. Bow and arrow isn't all that exciting to me.
