Been gone a few days, don't really know what's going on, but I think that's hysterical.
X3 couldn't hold a candle to Captain America, and most critics and people in the GA would agree with that.
But yeah, Mickey Rourke is apparently pretty pissed at Marvel for cutting out a good deal of his character.
Here's his exact quote:
I completely understand why he's mad, but at the end of the day I'm always going to be on Marvel's side. They're bringing us the Avengers and have done a fantastic job so far of making quality movies of some of my favorite characters, I'll trust their judgement in the long run.
Plus one of the thing's that Mickey brought to the movie that made it in the final cut was the whole bird thing, which I found pointless and stupid. Who knows what else he wanted to do with the character.
I'm not always happy with the way Marvel does things, particularly when they decided to cut the scene where Banner was trying to committ suicide in TIH (and got Norton all pissed off in the process, which likely contributed to Marvel's decide not to bring him back in The Avengers). But I for one don't think focusing too much on Varko in IM2 would've been a good idea, and having Justin Hammer as the secondary villain made the movie shifts its attention over to the villains' side, which I don't think would've worked. I think in the end, Rourke is just not suited to be in a movie about superheroes.

Must we? I'd rather have a full blown conversation about the movie score again with bamboo between my fingernails than entertain this dead horse again.
