those pants look ******ed.

why couldn't they have put the plate mail on his arms on his legs? It would looks so much more epic instead of Super Threads and Ultra Seams Blue Pants Thor.

someone SHOP this!!!

other than that, THIS PIC IS BADASSERY!!!

They need to show more from other settings. You'd think that their only fight scene is on that street.

I'm probably alone in this, but I like the fact that a lot of the details about The Avengers are being kept secret. Too many movies give up everything before they debut, which can spoil the experience. It would be refreshing to walk into the theater on opening night and be truly surprised for once.

because his legs are way longer than his arms and it would look weird

have you ever tried to put a shirt on your legs? it doth not work bro

Personally, I think the chainmail on the legs would look stupid

But seriously they need to stop releasing pics with the same two guys show me some mo' Iron Man And Banner!!!

Same, the pants could certainly look better but I think chainmail wouldn't help at all.

And just why is Russia getting all of this before us? Whatever happened to the U.S. seeing U.S. made movies first?

No, I am not enthralled with the mystique of Russia at all either. It's not that wonderful a place.

American pride!

American pride!

Damn straight. What's with this sudden love of Russia like it's some fairytale world? Where should I even begin mentioning all the human atrocities that country is responsible for throughout the ages, like the murder of young Jewish women before their wedding days or Stalin's treatment of his Soviet soldiers in WWII? How about all the hard working people that live in fecal ridden tenements because of the greed of their government?

For the trailer it may be a timing thing. Russia's holiday is later than the US and Europe's (they tend to use the orthodox calendar), so their big holiday movie weekend is three weeks after ours. There aren't any big movies coming out this weekend, or net weekend, so Marvel has to wait on the US trailer release.

I do wonder what the reasoning behind the spread out release dates is, though, from an industry perspective--is it because of the holidays, because of logistics, tax breaks, or (as I've heard before) a way to keep movie piracy under control.

I don't have a problem with it, really, I'm just intrigued about how some seemingly illogical choices turn out to be driven by rather logical rationale (like why spiral staircases in castles tend to spiral clockwise, etc)

I guess my feelings are pretty much linked to the fact of my geography. It just seems to me like a lot of people I've encountered in the New York state area, and not just the City have become beholden with Russia and how great a place it is that I see things like this and it makes me wonder just what really is going on. I suppose it could be that part of me that's Cherokee poking out too. Too many White Men have been stealing our land from us for centuries. We especially do not want anyone taking anymore of what has already been stolen from us.

You're right, they certainly don't deserve a trailer a couple days earlier than the US! While they're at it, Disney shouldn't screen the movie in Germany at all because of the Holocaust.

All I'm saying is why should other countries get trailer, movies, etc. etc. before the U.S. Did they contribute any money and have a stake in a film that is clearly made for a primarily U.S. audience? Has the American dollar devalued that much that our own movie studios don't think we can make their movies enough money anymore? Screw Russia is what I have to say. I want to see an American made movie before those Commie SOBs. This may come as no surprise to anyone but I don't live in Russia.

You know, it would be nice if Capcom used the same strategy as Hollywood movie studios use by releasing a few of their games here in the U.S. before Japan, like any given Japan exclusive Monster Hunter game they have been keeping from Western MH fans, like Frontier Online.

So yeah the more I see of caps costume, the more awesome it is.

It is awesome indeed, unlike some decisions that I protest to.

It is strange the way we keep seeing Thor and Cap, but maybe Marvel thinks because their movies were released more recently they will be the most in sync with the publics consciousness. Or maybe its because they are still working on the CGI for IM and Hulk, who knows.

I have to admit, it had seriously grown on me as well. When I first saw it, I thought it looked terrible, especially compared to Cap's costume in his movie, but yeah, the more I see it the more I like it.

You are not alone. (in best Peggy Carter voice)

I feel exactly the same way. I don't need to know the identity of LOKI's allies until I'm in the cinema watching the movie.
