I rest my case.
but it definitely is the same scene from that fight in the woods...(you can see wood chips flying everywhere in that shot)...i'm thinking it's from stark's unibeam
it's def either Thor calling down a huge lightning strike or IM unibeam that has cause all the damage there (as seen in the shot of all three standing together) And why is Thor without his chainmail in that battle?

You may have missed it, but a few days ago it was deduced that the scene of Thor being sent flying by a blue flash isn't that same scene as the shot where he strikes Cap's shield with Mjolnir.
Yeah there was a heated sparkle effect when those discs were removed but I don't think it has anything to do with Thor's power. Oh and I agree, Hopkins was great in THOR and I hope there's a scene in THOR II where Odin is able to show just how powerful he is.
Hey so before we was discussing if The suit Tony is wearing when he is caught by the Hulk and when he enters the group money shot were different or the same. I was wondering if anyone realize the suit he was wearing when he was caught by the Hulk is not as bulky as the one in the group money shot sequence.
What do you guys think? I'm thinking the Hulk catches Iron Man a lil bit earlier. That catch might not be during the final fight or battle. Just my thoughts
It does look like Hulk will be not only a scene stealer, but the most heart warming character next to Captain America. We see him save IM, but he also shields BW, something we see CA do as well. I feel this movie is going to have a lot of heart.
when did hulk shield widow?
seems like i am missing a lot..
bulky? the only difference i noticed was the color of the suit
wat exactly was deduced from the thor falling back?
It's an interpretation of the scene with Widow running ahead of Hulk with a bunch of explosions following them. Some think Widow is running from Hulk, who is pursuing and thus causing the explosions; others think she's running from the explosions, with Hulk putting himself between her and the exploding corridor to protect or shield her.
It was deduced that the scene where Thor was flying back isn't happening due too Mjolnir's collision with Cap's shield, because it's a completely different shot edited together to seem like the same scene.
Sorry to bring something up from the old thread, but I saw this and wanted to respond (since no one else has):
Whether he can pull it off in this one or not, I don't know. But -- and I realize I might be in the minority -- it kind of bother's me that he's voicing Hulk again. I understand why they've had him voicing him in the previous films, it's a nod to him and his previous work with Hulk, but I'm sorry - we're at the point technology wise where i don't see the point of NOT having Ruffalo voicing the Hulk as well.
I mean, he's portraying every other aspect of Hulk (playing Banner, did some (if not a large chunk) of the motion-capture work - save for whatever they might've used a stunt-man for). Why can't he voice the Hulk as well and tweak it in post production to make the voice fit the look?
Sorry... just a very minor (and possibly the only) thing that's actually bugging me about Avengers.
Agreed. In essence, Lou Ferrigno has been the Hulk in every live action adaptation (as well as one cartoon) and I'm fine with that.

That doesn't make sense since Thor is a great deal more powerful than Loki, don't you mean "if that cell can hold Hulk, it can surely hold Thor"?
I wish everyone would grow up...STOP THE DC/MARVEL FLAME WAR NOW!!!
Continued flaming from here on out of any poster in this Marvel/DC flame war results in infractions...no mercy!

The Suit he is wearing when he is flying up towards the portal has extra repulsers on the back... when he gets caught by the Hulk it didn't look that suit had those.

I like that coexist thing lol. Cool how it uses symbols from only major heroes.

i though it was obvious that widow was running from hulk...
since hulk rampages through the hellicarrier...
anyway thats my take...
Why on earth would Hulk attack lil ol' Widow?
There's a lot of "Hulk Vs." fights people want to see --- Thor and Iron Man probably leading the list --- but I seriously doubt Widow ever made *anybody's* list of "superheroes I want to see Hulk beat up."
Now you've got me wondering how audiences would react to a scene where Hulk beat the **** out of Black Widow
I don't think they'd take kindly to it
