Terrible.
We know enough about Cap's character to know that's exactly what he was talking about. Especially since we know Tony's "you're nothing but a lab experiment" line is from that same scene, and Tony's response to Cap's line. It's pretty obvious, imo.We still haven't seen that scene within the context of the film so we don't know if that's really what Cap was talking about.
I think is funny that Rogers tells Stark that "take the suit away, and what are you?" which can also be applied to him. Take his serum away, and what is he?.
The entire thing?
Again, Rogers was talking about his strength of character, not abilities. The equivalent of "what kind of man are you?" Clearly in the scene leading up to that, Stark was proving himself to be quite the egotistical a-hole we all know he can be, and Rogers was calling him out on it.
Take away the serum, and Captain America is still a great man who cares about others, treats them with respect, and is willing to die for what he believes in. Take away Iron Man's armor, and you have, well, Tony Stark. Obviously, Tony is gonna prove himself to be just as heroic to Steve over the course of the film, but as far as first impressions go, Steve is (rightfully) less than impressed.
Just saw the Avengers trailer on Nickelodeon.t:
What show?
Thank you!Well said!
Man why did Whedon have to take 45 minutes off it? 3 hours would have been perfect![]()
to sell more DVDs (Director's cut)
It's annoying that people are pissed he cut out 45 minutes and are calling for a directors cut even though he said that the theatrical cut is the director's cut.
Studios aren't the only people that want scenes from movies. It's like some people are surprised when directors actually cut scenes from movies.
It's epically long enough if Whedon says soBecause The Avengers should be an epically long film.
