I see it more as a growth role. She's in there so that she could move the story towards more sequel opportunities.

It would not surprise me one bit, given the cult status that he seems to have garnered. Actually it makes sense for them to go with Coulson - they can have a death that impacts and resonates with the fanbase and they dont have to sacrifice a 'main' character.

But why does someone have to die? Nobody needs to die. Coulson needs to live and be incorporated in the comics.

I just love how cute he is most of the time (lol at Tony trolling him and avoiding him) and when **** hits the fan he's all badass and commanding like in Thor.
