the issue of equal amount of screentime was the major concern since this movie started developing...and I am sure that Whedon, being a fanboy himself, will obviously tackle this problem...
as long as they make Cap gain each avenger's respect and be the leader, the fans will be fine

An article in Empire magazine addressed that issue. Whedon was worried about equal screen time but said the reality was much worse..."they would not stop chatting, giggle, giggle, giggle, chat, chat, chat." lol "But every single one of them was rooting for each other"

The article also address the RDJ issue...Whedon promises "its a full ansemble" etc.

Change of subject, but is it true Black Widow and Hawkeye are going to be a romance? Well...it didn't work out in the comics...

From what I've heard, there's no real "romance" in the movie, but Black Widow does have some sexual tension with both Banner and Hawkeye (According to Jeremy Renner, they've had a relationship in the past).

I've only recently come back to the boards here, but just from the past week I've come to the conclusion Alexei comes in once a day to purposefully say something completely pointless and argumentative just to get a rise out of people. Yeah, it has. The top was the I believe the second piece of artwork released for The Avengers. The bottom two are obviously from the solo films

Nope. They are official merchandise artwork for the Cap and Thor solo movies. All the merch art looks bright and plastic-y

It's obvious based on the marketing that of the 2 hour and 15 minutes of screen time, RDJ is in 2 hrs and 14 minutes of it. This includes the credits. The only minute he is not in it is when the Marvel logo comes on. Oh, and Jarvis' voice is now RDJ's voice. And all shots of Black Widow's cleavage has been superimposed with a picture of RDJ's face.
