I wonder, do these tv spots and trailers have any scenes that are not in the movie?

I think some of the earlier ones probably did but the newer ones, since the premier and advanced screenings are done, don't contain unused scenes.

I'm from Germany, too. I think it's the "hero tenor" syndrome. You have a blond, heroic guy, so of course he gets a Wagnerian tenor voice, never mind his original voice. It pisses me off.

Yeah when I saw Thor in the cinema it didn´t seem too atrocious, just meh. Then I heard Hemsworth in original and was immediately pissed at the dubbers.

Ironically we get to see the movie earlier than america but have to wait until the DVD/BR for a much better original

Do you have a theater witch show a "original" screening? I know it's rare if you're not from Hamburg, Berlin or Munich. I had never the luck so far.

Yes, a tenor voice fits to a character who could belong to the "Ring der Nibelungen" . Sometimes I'm glad they take real actors for the dubbing and not comedians like Erkan und Stefan.

The Hulks roars in The Avengers were one of my favorite things about the movie. They were vicious, with a seething, boiling rage.

That's a shame. I'm so glad they never started to dub movies like that in Sweden.

It was the same for me. Actually I liked the voice even it was not "thunderish" for the huge guy I saw there. Then I heard the original and was simply blown away.

Just saw another TV spot, with the focus being on CA, during the Lakers game. Had some shots that weren't in previous ones.

be nice if they showed some spots during Ultimate Spider man or Avengers:EMH. I know those are mainly aimed at kids but still. Don't know if you guys are football fans ro not but, even though I'm from way over on the other side of the world, I'm a huge fan of German football. I've been supporting Germany in major tournaments for over 25 years. Really hoping they can achieve victory at this years European Championships.

Yes, I´ve been to scandinavia several times and it is really far better to sub movies, educational and all... and you really only can judge a performance when you hear the actual actor.

And sadly I don´t know if there are cinemas who screen in english around here

Sorry, but I´m not really into football.. though this might be a chance to ask why it is sometimes called soccer and sometimes football? I never got behind that

I never think the 1.85:1 aspect ratio really hurt the movie. Still looked great and epic.

Never got the sense it "looked like TV." So who ever started that rumor, I would really like to smack you for starting that nonsense.

Agree, the movie looked great and very high quality. I'm sure the rumor came from the notion that Whedon has mainly done TV therefore everything he does is going to look like a TV show. It's ridiculous.

I read somewhere that the film is shot in a manner, that you are near the characters, part of the action. Maybe that looked like TV to the one who started that. Glad that so many people deny that, since it didn´t seem off to me in the trailers and clips...

Well just keep in mind I was at D23 and I was trying to tell you guys the footage never came off that way. No one listened though . Most of that was finished cut footage.

To who ever started that, the footage he might've seen might not have been final, color corrected and all that. We know sometimes footage gets a lot of massaging before it goes to the final print sometimes.

Personally I can't stand the color saturated look of Michael Bay's movies and this looks nothing like that.
