This question has been weighing on my mind ever since I saw it in one of the released clips. Can someone, who has seen it, please answer this for me?

In the Loki/Stark clip, you see Stark put some bracelets on both wrists. What in the world are they and what do they do?

I haven't seen the film, but from what I've read:

They're supposedly used to gain remote access to his Iron Man armor that has it flying automatically to him and attaching itself to him without needing to use a entire walkway of machines to do so. This is most helpful for when Loki throws Tony out of the window.

Ah that makes sense. Thanks for answering! However, I wonder if that scene is related to....

Edit: I had asked a second question, but it was actually answered in the Post Screening spoilers thread. Guess I should have gone there to begin with. :oldrazz:

He sure was I'd had forgotten all about that, well he still didn'tmake an appearance in the live action Dragon Ball movie.

That movie never existed!!!!! :cmad: :whatever: Ok ok it did.......:csad:

Well at lease we still have the first dragonball movie. It sucked too but it was miles ahead of Evolution. Grand pa Gohan and Goku at 7:35. The Dragon Balls where called Dragon Perils in translation because they though that Dragon Balls sounded like Dragon Testicles.

If my memory is correct, someone said that the reason why Tony is falling like that is because he's already unconscious as a result of doing something that took place in outer space. I could be wrong about the means of how it happened, but I'm pretty sure that Tony is unconscious in that scene where Hulk catches him.

So is there any indication just how good this movie is tracking, as far as advanced ticket sales? I mean is it tracking better than The Hunger Games, for example? I mean is this setting up to be one of the biggest movies of all time, financially speaking?

Also, just out of sheer curiosity, does anyone know the total budget for the film?

'The Avengers' Tracking to Open North of $150 Million, Strong as 'Dark Knight'

"The Marvel Studios and Disney superhero extravaganza is generating bigger prerelease interest than "The Dark Knight" or "The Hunger Games."

If prerelease tracking is any indication, Joss Whedon's The Avengers could score one of the biggest domestic openings of all time for a superhero pic, if not one of the biggest period.

The first batch of prerelease tracking for the film shows the ensemble extravaganza, which opens May 4 in North America, pacing ahead of Warner Bros.' The Dark Knight in most key categories.

Avengers also is tracking better than Lionsgate's blockbuster The Hunger Games, which posted a record March bow of $152.5 million to score the third-best opening of all time behind Deathly Hallows Part 2 and Dark Knight, respectively.

Avengers is appearing to be a sizable victory for Disney in the wake of box-office misfire John Carter earlier this year. The superhero pic is the first Marvel title to be distributed and marketed by the studio since it bought Marvel."

Thanks BT!
This wait is going to be intolerable, I'll have to bunker down and go into hibernation for the rest of week.

I AM 100% CONFIDENT THAT THE AVENGERS WILL SURPASS THE $1 BILLION WORLDWIDE MARK. IF AVATAR CAN DO IT THEN THIS MOVIE THAT FANS HAVE BEEN WAITING 50 YEARS FOR AND WILL MOST LIKELY SEE MULTIPLE TIMES CAN DO IT.

-DOOM :doom:

Agreed

Ha this is one of few times I'm actually proud that I live at the bottom of the world :hehe:

This time next week I'll have seen it at least twice. Three times if my niece has her way, but then she's not paying $50 for a pair of tickets each time we see it! Stupid Aussie ticket prices. :cmad:

I, MYSELF, WILL BE SEEING IT AROUND 4-5 TIMES ON OPENING DAY ALONE LOL. PROBABLY AROUND 20 TIMES BEFORE IT LEAVES THEATERS :D

IF PEOPLE CAN DO THAT FOR THOSE ****** STAR WARS PREQUELS THEN THIS SHOULD BE NO PROBLEM FOR ME

-DOOM :doom:

It opens in 1 WEEK in Australia and just 8 days in the UK.

:woot: omg omg

I already planned my schedule next week! I'm going to see it 3 times

1. with my gf
2. with my cousin
3. with my gf together with my nephews and nieces

When The Avengers Releases will we get a Spoiler section and a Non-spoiler section like the Amazing Spider-man and The Dark Knight have. When the movie comes out, I don't want people crying about spoiler tags. It would be nice to have a section completly for Spoilers. Insted of all of these Spoiler and none spoiler threads.
