That would be nice for Renner since it sounds like he kind of got the shaft in Avengers.

Cap's gonna be staying with SHIELD when it picks up, so I imagine he'd be filling Falcon's usual role.

He didn't. No one did, really.

Well, Stellan Skarsgard did. lol

From what it sounds like he has the least screen time out of the team and for half of it
he's mind controlled.

Does he have some decent lines?

He's got some good lines and he gets to show off big time during the third act

I hear hawkeye serves his purpose quite well in avengers.

Is Thor 2 going to be set mostly in Asgard and other parts of universe, leaving Earth realm out of it?

Will Thanos make an appearance possibly?

Who is Thor going to fight in Thor 2?

Name some villains that are possible

That might be awful. X:FC is set in the 60s, so there would be Maximoffs in different eras in the two franchises. Also, I trust Marvel to get the characterization just right, Fox's lackeys not so much.

I'm not sure that XMFC2 will remain in the 60s; they might fast-forward a bit to the 70s. But anyho, *if* Fox and Marvel simultaneously developed SW & QS, they would be totally unrelated franchises. Brotherhood Wanda & Pietro would not be Avenger Wanda & Pietro.

And yeah, that would cause a lot of head-scratchin', but I remember a similar situation back in the 80s when Sean Connery made a popular James Bond spinoff movie (Never Say Never Again) that had nothing to do with the core Cubby Broccoli franchise, which was simultaneously releasing Octopussy with Roger Moore that same year.

The core what now?

Holy crap! I was just lookin at that b-roll footage and came accross this!

I would like Marvel to buy back the right of all X-Men characters and then make a series of computer animated movies :yay:

If Marvel can't even hint that they're mutants, I don't think they should use them. Marvel will get the rights back to X-Men one day, so it doesn't matter if they're not in the first set of Avengers movies.

Unfortunately, I think the only way for Marvel to get X-Men's rights back is if the superhero well has dried up in Hollywood, and even Fox decides against rebooting the franchise or spin it off with something like a DP solo movie. I just can't see that happening in the next 10-20 years.

So basically movie is about 142 minutes with credits. Haters can now shut their mouths.

That will never happen.

Sequels won't all be 60s. They've hinted at different decades leading up to x1

I noticed Entertainment Weekly magazine has it's summer preview issue out, and as I was flipping through it, I was a little disappointed that they have Men In Black 3 as their most anticipated movie for May, and The Avengers just had a little snip it. What's up with that?????

eh, I don't know anyone who actually likes entertainment weekly.

No, it's not "most anticipated movie in May," it's their FEATURED May movie. The one they did an article on. Cuz ya know, they already did an entire cover story article on Avengers, and it was a lot longer than the MIB 3 one, lol.

I never saw the magazine with The Avengers in it, but either way, why would they feature MIB3 over The Avengers in a Summer Preview?

Guess who owns EW?

EW is known for how they handle Marvel coverage (photoshopping covers poorly, poor coloring, etc)

I wouldn't be surprised if it continued.

Since EW is owned by Time Warner, I'm always a bit skeptical about their agenda, especially when it comes to movies. I think they intentionally snubbed The Avengers, but it's okay because TA doesn't need their help to become a blockbuster.

Part might be when in May the movies come out--Avengers comes out barely in May, so all the anticipation is really in April (also, it comes out in Europe in April). It's sorta like viewing it as a May movie only by technicality.

I do! It's good reading when I'm trapped in a doctor's office for a couple of hours. I gotta have something to read and EW beats Highlights for Children.

I read the superhero hype forums on my phone when I'm trapped in a doctors office :oldrazz:

Because they've already featured Avengers plenty. And it's not like it's WB "favoritism" or anything, because MIB3 is Sony/Columbia. And Avengers still got its own page. They just gave another May movie a spotlight this time, simple as that.
