Yeah, one german tv channel actually incorporates trailer stuff from the avengers into their normal programm (like when advertising breaks start, etc)

Yeah, that's cool. I hoped this from the start when they started they superhero campaign. The channel presented yesterday the screening in a few theaters with the line "If we can't protect the Earth, you'll be damn sure we'll entertain it.

Yeah, they sure ride ont he superhero trend this year.

I also heard that Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston are going to be on TV Total monday night, i hope there are internet livestreams for that episode since Raab usually speaks english to foreign guests and just translates major interview points, so most people would be able to understand without subtitles

How the HECK is that a great finale?
I'd need to see/hear Fiege say that considering where that "transcript" is from. Not saying you're lying or anything Lou, just that it would seem to be a better finale if the avengers are saving the UNIVERSE over fighting each other.

More or less. If that's the definite route they're going to take, I cannot WAIT to see the armor-up sequence in live action.

Me either. I think having Extremis armor will really make Stark an even more formidable superhero, since he'll be able to bring his armor whenver he goes, like if he were a secret agent. It will also allows him to deal against bigger and stronger enemies in The Avengers 2.

I remember when the trailer for Iron Man 2 came out, and it had Stark saying the line "I AM Iron Man", I got super excited because I thought Extremis would be a part of the movie. Man, was I disappointed.

I would def think civil war should be done in the toon world i.e. EMH or a straight to dvd/blu-ray release. I think CW would confuse the younger kids and would be lost on the GA because they go from fighting to save the earth to fighting each other w/o a clear side to root for

Same here. I don't see the merit of Civil War, because it is just superheroes fighting against each other, and the lines between good and evil are blurred. I want to see them saving the world from super-villains, and not trying to tear each other into pieces. We pay to see The Avengers, not Gladiators.

I would like to see it as a backdrop for a larger conflict, or as the first two acts to a film with a third act bringing the two factions of heroes together against a common threat.

But a Civil War film featuring nothing but warring superheroes? Meh...
