Oh and he's lovely, hilarious...and strangely good looking.

soooo who's watching Graham Norton right now?

Mark Ruffallo is on it, and Graham just introduced the show with a little about each character, Cap's being "Captain America, the world's goodest superhero, and according to his star on his chest employee of the month at Mcdonalds" :hehe:

edit: of course he was joking.

and CLIP alert! NEW CLIP!

What was the new clip?

Well you look at how successful Pixar and Marvel have been vs. Disney proper and you can understand the reason they're looking in that directon.

Rich Ross rope was tied, the moment John Carter flopped so badly. 69, million off a 250 million dollar budget puts it up with some of the all time flops for the ages.

It will be interesting to see what happens. One thing I love about Feige is even though he gets crap, he puts his neck on the line and you have to respect that like it or not. Someone has to be the guy to call the shots.

Do you want the coach on the sidelines who will go for it on 4th and 1 yd to go at a big moment? That's who Feige is.

It was with Widow and Bruce :) it was tres amazing.

Nikki Finke suggested that Kevin Feige is a candidate to replace Rich Ross as head of Disney.

I kind of hope he doesn't. I know people have issues with Feige but what he's accomplished as an architect for the whole MCU is amazing. I hope he is around for Avengers 2 and such. But still, I don't see how he could do any worse of a job than Rich Ross. I just hope he wouldn't be set up to fail.

I'm actually surprised that more people aren't discussing this on here.:wow:

The whole problem with Civil War is that Tony Stark has always been the maverick and the rule-breaker. He's not the type that would've sided with registration. Cap is more like that person.

There's nothing really fascist about registration either. It's basically the same idea as Avengers Academy. SHIELD and Nick Fury basically say, "OK you young upstart heroes we're giving you free training under the greats if you want to run around in a costume so you know not to blow up a playground full of kids."

Yeah, it's just as silly as Lucius Fox in TDK. The guy had no problem arming a vigilante and kidnapping people in China. But spy on the Joker and the rest of Gotham's criminals? Well....that's just wrong! Politics are best left out of comicbooks because hypocrisy is rampant in them.

Like I said, I liked CW but I hated the obvious left-wing Marvel bias in it.

What was the new clip?

do tell!!!!

It was an extended clip of when Black Widow goes to visit him, she tells him that they need his expertise in gamma radiation, and he teases that [BLACKOUT]he gets angry and turn into the hulk "just to see what you would do". Black Window just pulls out a sort of tranquiliser gun and doesnt even flinch.[/BLACKOUT] I tried recording it but it didnt record any sound :( sorry guys. Sure someone will rip it from demand anyway later on.

clip was great. first real character stuff we (who haven't been to a screening) have seen of ruffalo. i get why people are liking his performance just from that short clip. editing was really good on what widow did as well.

i got a bit urked by some of graham's pfff superhero movie stuff. but he tried to rectify that somewhat with his own opinion and the fact of it being the highest tracking film ever. and ruffalo was funny and endearing throughout. wish i could see him acting while stoned.

more of there writers and audience are probably left-wing. it's good business to appeal to that. the right-wing should appreciate that.

i think DC tends more right-wing than marvel tho.

I couldn't help but LOL when he told that story, but I feel sorry for him that he kinda got stitched up like that and in turn may have given him a bad image for the press to make foul of. He comes off naturally funny, and it was a great interview

well he got good reviews and now he's in the avengers i think it all worked out in spite of that prank monkey.

also i think his acting on the how the phone call should have went bit was really good.

Come on!

Tatooine is the planet where Anakin grew up himself!

And now another guy whose name is Skywalker lives there.

No one would be so careless. If you try to hide someone from his father, you don't put him in the same place where his father lived and let him use the same family name. That is simply stupid.

Besides, how do Yoda and Obi-Wan know that the Emperor told Anakin that his wife died? They weren't present during that conversation.

As a SW fan I just wanted to say that Vader had no reason to come back -to the planet that had him slaved- once his mother died. Hell, he (and the emperor) left the planet to the gangsters and didn't want anything to do with it. Besides Vader didn't know if his son survived and the ones who wanted to keep his name were Owen and Beru.
Also Ben Kenobi was watching him.
(I know that its stupid for them to keep his name but hey, the above stuff is also plausibly)

Back to Avengers, I just bought my midnight tickets for the 27th :woot:

where's the new clip? is it up yet?

...sorry for my english hehe

There is also the fact that the galaxy is seriously vast, mush larger than the movies present. And the Outer Rim truly is a far distant backwater where hardly anyone ever goes and basically no one cares about.

I think that Tatooine features so heavily in the movies leads people to think that it's more important or more heavily traveled than it is.

/fanwank off

Nice to see you are also a Star Wars fan :yay:

If Feige takes the new Disney gig, good for him, he does deserve it, but selfishly, I'm hoping he'll turn it down (or get passed over). The other candidates will do just fine in that position, I think.

If Feige does take it, I just hope Loeb doesn't jump to the movie side. I cannot handle two-thirds of marvel being ruined. It would kill me.

If Feige does take it, I hope to god Loeb doesn't jump to the movie side. I cannot handle two-thirds of marvel being ruined. It would kill me.

Please don't say that! I hate Loeb
