Scarlett was terrible in IM2. Cringe-worthy IMO. That said, she didn't have a big part, so the film didn't suffer to terribly. With all of these heroes in Avengers, I doubt her performance will affect my overall view of Avengers( unless she improves).

What in the name of all that is good and prefect in this world are you talking about ? Scarlett wasn't terrible or Cringe-worthy in IM2, I thought her performance was good and I loved her fight sequences as Black Widow .

I dont think that wormhole thing has anything to do with any of the villains. If anything, it looks like the whole group is coming through that wormhole via Thor's power.

I think It's just Thor messing with the sky for dramatic effect. Notice the lightning bolt from his hammer. I think it's just there to not be plain.

I thought kinda normal was what they were going for with natalie rushman and when she got her suit on all of the sudden she was a bad***. She was black widow! Even though she only had like a 2 minute action scene. She managed to beat up like 6 guys. I dont consider that bland.

I like that they have purple highlights on Hawkeye's costume instead of the maroonish ones from the Ultimates.

Renner doesn't look like a super hero in that poster, just a man with a bow and arrow. He could be a sportsman. I wish he had a cowl at least. If they can make Cap's costume and mask work, then surely they can with Hawkeye.

What really sold me on ScarJo was that she wasnt/isn't your typical 115 lb toothpick heroine (Jolie,Jovovich and others) that took down men twice her size with kicks and punches. The luchador fighting style Favs gave her and the way she took out the guards was more believable than all of what Jolie did in Salt and Jovovich did in all the RE movies.

Cringe worthy moments are what Alice did in Resident Evil, the perfectly timed jump kick she gave the zombie dog in the first one and the back "donkey" kick she gave the zombie in part 2 are great examples.

Was just noticing there's a slight difference between the POSTER with the logo and the ART for the poster. Look at the energy/space/porthole in the art it's behind Hulk's arm, in the poster it's further over above Thor

Agree on Scarlett being fine as the Widow and the fighting style working very well (hope to see more of it this time round as well).
With the RE films...In fairness by the second one she was 'Super Duper Alice' so all bets were off.

Plot point or not, movie Hawkeye looks the least visually interesting of the group, and looks like he could be a peg warmer as a toy as well. Besides, that can still be a plot point while giving him a proper mask.

I'm fine with blue sleeves as they are hitting all the necessary cues I care about, the shield, the A, the wings, the red abdominal stripes, and the red gloves and boots.

I think it's just a blue stripe on Cap's arms the rest are white I think. Could be wrong though.

you can't see Cap's full arms on ether side how do you know there ISN'T white there?
For that matter look CLOSELY at his left arm above his head
