Somebody on CBM is claiming that the post-credits scene involves Loki looking for the Infinity Gems and deliberately trying to get caught so he can return to Asgard to collect the Gauntlet. Apparentally, one Gem is in Wakanda and another is on Attilan.

A) I really like the direction the new spider-man is going. Love Garfield

B) I really want Spidey to be a Marvel property just so we can have transferrable villains and characters like Punisher etc.

I want ASM to be a hit and go back to Marvel....is this both possible....or does ASM have to not do well for it to go to Marvel?

You would have thought it would have to bomb. Sony wouldn't give up a cash cow. They would need to be convinced that it's a property not worth bothering with.

Maybe if Sony does sell the Spider-Man rights back to Marvel, it will include all the rights and contracts of the cast & crew, so Marvel can pick up where ASM left off. Dunno if it's doable, though.

Marvel would have to buy back the right or another studio could swoop in and buy the rights. If Sony goes up the rights don't automatically go back to Marvel.
