I think that's the wrong attitude to have. And I don't that's neccessarily your attitude, either, but...if anything, Avengers should make people want both more solo films and more Avengers films. If its a question of scale comparison, then the answer is fairly obvious: Make the solo films a little bigger. The comics have gone from world altering stories to personal tales and back and forth for decades. Movies could easily do so as well.

They need to develop these characters somehow. "Joining a team" isn't the end all be all for them and their mythologies. I don't see too much invididual character development happening in The Avengers and even its sequels, so its likely going to be left up to the solo films to do so.

The solo films just need to be just as big and as impactful as Avengers. No more isolated, tax-incentive new Mexico village.

It wasn't my only worry, but it was one of my biggest worriers along with Thor having strength feats and Hawkeye getting shafted.

Hawkeye is NOT shafted. He is a force to be reckoned with to be sure. Everyone fears him.

Thor has TREMENDOUS feats of strength.

Hulk is great.

For IM3 I want Tony to be taken down a peg.

The one thing that Tony hasn't lost in all three films is his arrogance and bull-headed attitude...I'd like to see Tony truly humbled and taken down a peg.

You mean RDJ take it down a peg. As much as I like some of his interpretation of Stark, there's quite a lot of RDJ's own personality showing through in the character.

Whedon earns that amount of emotion during one single shot

X-Men have always been my favorite comic books but I've been a pretty straight forward Hulk homer as long as I can remember....I'm not entirely sure why...but I have been so pumped because of the reaction to the Hulk

I don't care if you spoil it or not but you make it sound like he is the "coolest' Avenger....does he just steal the show or does Whedon actually make him like the most intragel part of the Avengers?

Or what about it do you like? Ruffalo kills it? Action owns? I'm sure the answer is all....I am just excited that Hulk is getting so much love

Maybe this is the question I am most interested in being answered....does it feel like Hulk has finally gotten off the ground and we can actually have a stable Hulk franchise? Ruffy seems like he is down to play the guy more, so I am hopeful

If Sony Pictures did indeed kick the bucket, Marvel would waste no time in getting the film rights back...there's NO WAY they'd let their flagship character be acquired by another studio.
Doubt any other studio is allowed the Spidey rights.
I'm sure somewhere they have something that states that if sony went under the right go back to Marvel.

I'm a bit disappointed, but in a movie with a large cast such as this, we cannot expect every character to receive equal screentime and development. However, I see TA as Hawkeye's real introduction, and if his character is very well-received, and with an Oscar nominee like Jeremy Renner, it could open the door for a solo movie in the future.

Do you think The Avengers pulled off what TDK did, by making the stakes extremely high?

Yes

Well Joss Whedon did make it clear that there was no Spidey whatsoever in The Avengers and Coulson being in the ASM is impossible since both film are owned by two different film companies.

As I said, Whedon has not lied once in an interview.

Hawkeye is NOT shafted. He is a force to be reckoned with to be sure. Everyone fears him.

Thor has TREMENDOUS feats of strength.

Hulk is great.

Woah, even without Mjolnir?

It's not a death. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Hawkeye lose his eyes and get bionic ones in the comics?

TASM will be part of the MCU.

That's what I think.

I think their merchandising deal may have included Marvel getting the right to use Spidey in a future crossover in a film as they see fit, and can Sony continue to make solo films.

bosef are you annoyed at answering so many questions? With great power comes great responibility but this must be a little tiresome? (just looking out for ya, I'm sure everyone here very much appreciates it)

I'm really bad at catching easter eggs in movies (my brain is just not that sharp) are there any hints you can give me to keep my eye out for so I catch some of the cooler ones (if there are cooler ones)? Don't have to spoil them if you don't have too....but like in Thor I almost miss the Infinity Gauntlet every time and if some one wasn't like "keep an eye out for it in the Asgard chamber of artfcats thing" I would never catch on

Jaqua, if you want to know that head to the post-credits scene thread. That's answered.

thats why I am here duhh haha considering you've seen me there..

I don't know if I am buying everything that guy is selling, hence why I am asking here.

To be honest I wouldn't be annoyed if I was Bosef, that's what these forums are for and I HAPPILY fill posters in whenever I'm the first to find out something.

MovieMasterCBM, would Sony still lose the rights though?

I mean think about it. MGM didn't lose like Robocop and James Bond when they went into bankruptcy.

Bosef, I have one question if that's ok? Is Hulk's healing factor shown or addressed in the movie if you remember? Thanks.
