Does Thor or Hulk show a feat of strength during the film?

Please detail in a spoiler :yay:

When a Leviathan is first introduced it comes at the whole team head on. Banner transforms into the Hulk, punches it in the face which kills it.

Do we get to hear:
"Hulk is STRONGEST one there is!!!" ?

How did he look? Could you tell it was him at first glance? Or did they take liberties in his appearance?

You only saw the side of his face. He was purple and had his signature chin. I instantly knew it was Thanos. Very true to the comics.

No. To be honest I only remember one Hulk line. There may have been more that I couldn't hear due to audience cheering.

No. He only has one or two lines and I couldn't make them out because people were cheering too much. :yay: But I know it wasn't that.

After he deals with Loki he says "puny god". That's all I've got.

Short answer: Yes to both.

Longer answer:
Both characters performed feats of strength that one would expect of them, based on the comics. Hulk, of course, was like a force of nature, quite terrifying when he destroyed parts of the Helicarrier pursuing Natasha and devastated the attacking aliens. However, i would say that Thor seemed to be Hulk's equal in terms of strength. Their one-on-one fight on the Helicarrier was absolutely brutal, short as it was. At several points, Thor staggered Hulk with blows both from fist and hammer. Hulk repaid the Thunderer in kind. The battle was sort of a draw, as it was cut short, but neither had the upper hand.

Later in the film Thor demonstrated how powerful the lightning he commanded was, using it against the aliens with devastating accuracy. Hulk and Thor teamed up to fight several of the Leviathans, as well. Both of them were well-served by the films fight scenes, IMO. I'm sure the fan battles over who was stronger will continue, however.

Does bruce's eyes turn green before transforming? And do they happen to play any eerie score during his first transformation, ala the old tv show? (also answer if you want or not but, if someone could elaborate on
how banner uses "being angry" as a means to control the hulk, wouldn't he just be the hulk all the time? Im having a logic fart here...

Thanks for that. Our crowd in Cherry Hill was cheering that scene so loudly that I couldn't hear what Hulk said. When he [BLACKOUT]whipped Loki back and forth[/BLACKOUT] I was cheering, too. :woot:

From what I gathered, when Bruce said "My secret is that I'm always angry," he meant that he realizes this facet of his personality and has learned to suppress the transformation. Immediately after delivering that line, he calmly turned to face the Leviathan and transformed into Hulk, killing it with a single blow. So clearly he does not need a "trigger" since his internal bomb is always ready to explode, if that makes sense.

How were the Thor/Loki scenes? Curious about their physical fights plus any emotional moments. Did Thor get to a point when he stopped trying to save him and instead tried to kill him? And who finally beats Loki?

Wouldnt it be great if the scene they recently filmed was of cap saying " avengers assemble! " lol
