The Avengers The Avengers Post Screening Review & Discussion Thread (SPOILER FILLED) - Part 2

So there is no doubt in "The Avengers" that the events of "The Incredible Hulk" took place?

If that is the case, that is awesome, and a relief to a continuity buff like me. I mean, I always assumed this would be the case, but when Feige said in a recent interview that banner hadn't Hulked out in years, it kind of worried me, because Avengers is taking place no more than probably 6 months after the end of TIH.

Is it true there's gonna be an extra post-credits scene?

Most likely, yes, but these guys didn't see it. It was filmed after the world premiere - the one that got streamed on MARVEL. What it composes or means no one knows. So it's probably going to be either a curtain call or something big.

Sorry, my computer is a little behind in the responses...and thank you for answering...

Is there any references to other Marvel heroes or villains?

Correct.

Would you say this Hulk is portrayed as stronger than the other two Hulks?

CBM.com just posted an article with a BUNCH of spoilers if anyone's interested.

Eh, I don't know about "stronger". But certainly better!

Do we see Hulk lifting some truly heavy objects? Objects larger than in his solo films? I'm talking about scenes with incredible(pun intended) feats of strength.

I noticed a lot of people asking"was it better than this&that movie?",Why not just ask"Was it good and does it do the Avengers comics justice??",A film being as good as another is all up to OPINIONS and so it don't mean *****,An Avengers movie should be as good as a big issue of an Avengers comic or a novel!!

I understand the comparisons of"this is marvel's TDK"IF meant as being critically praised by the GA&fans and biggest film for the movie studio in a long time!

If anyone went to the LA premiere and stayed until the ending credits, could you please tell me if the actors returned and if there was a scene at the very end? I had to use the bathroom and didn't return to the theater.

Nope. No scenes other than what has already been mentioned.

Word on the street is that there's two scenes. There's one during the credits which these guys saw. Then following the premiere the actors gathered to shoot a quick scene which will most likely be shown after the credits, it's so top secret it was filmed after the premiere.

I think it is. I place it right up there with the best of the best.

DK, SPM2, X2 and Green Lantern (kidding).

QFT. Finally, a comic book movie that delivered everything it promised and more. The Avengers was true to its four-color source material, from the bright, "spangly" costumes to the humor to the depth of characterization we came to expect from Marvel Comics. And it was cinematic, fancy that! :o

Does Thor or Hulk show a feat of strength during the film?

Please detail in a spoiler :yay:

is hulk's voice Lou's or Ruffalo's?

Hulk didn't really talk much, every time he said something I couldn't hear what it was because the crowd was going nuts (as was I). But most of the roars and stuff were Lou's.

I totally knew that was coming from the opening sequence of the film, but damn! It was terrific. My brother had no idea and his jaw just dropped, then he cheered. People around us lost their **** completely. What a great reveal.

How did he look? Could you tell it was him at first glance? Or did they take liberties in his appearance?

Sounds great. Thanks!
