I actually agree with all of El Payaso's criticisms, but I still enjoyed those bits as my brain was shut off at the time.
Well, that might help. But even when I was heavily entertained by the movie [BLACKOUT]I can't stand that kind of facile resolution.[/BLACKOUT]
Dude.., I will say again, that is bad because??
Same question, same answer. Lazy writing is not a praiseworthy characteristic.
It's not like the whole movie was written like that either.
I almost feel like you are trying to just pick the movie apart, based on the picture, it seems you may be a batman guy.
Could be wrong.
Yes, a Batman guy is defined as someone who picks movies apart.
But gratuitous labelling aside, I am a Batman guy. And also critizised the exact same thing in Batman Begins (known as the target of every praise by 'Batman guys'). I hated the way they got rid of Scarecrow in that Batman movie the same I hated what they did here with a great villiain - and Loki was a much much better villiain than Cillian Murphy's Scarecrow, mind you (oh what a thing to say for a Batman guy tearing other movies apart). [BLACKOUT]Both were very similar ways to get rid of the bad guy.[/BLACKOUT]
Its a random scene thrown in for laughs. That's not a bad thing and its not necessarily lazy writing because not having it there wouldn't have done anything more than it being there. Which is nothing.
Its just a funny little scene thrown in. Nothing is bad about that dude.
No, it wasn't just a "random" unimportant scene. It was the end of the villiain we were supposed to feel as the greatest menace. And during the climax. [BLACKOUT]And they did a very good job building Loki's persona just to have him defeated in a cartoony half-baked comedic way. They had Loki at the end moaning like that. That cheesism was unworthy of this villiain.[/BLACKOUT]
I feel like you are trying hard to uncover every flaw in this movie.
Well first of all your sentence implies there are flaws and that this was one o them. And then, no, you don't try hard to undercover things that are fairly obvious.
Look, if you didn't like that moment you should probably give up on Marvel movies. They won't be your thing.
Well, I happen to have seen all of them, and have found very similar flaws in movies that are not Marvel so I suggest your diagnosis might be inaccurate.
