The Back Spider

I'm suprised I haven't seen this discussed (though if it has, I apologize) but Spidey's spider-logo on his back looks pretty wicked. Though we haven't gotten to see it quite as clearly as we'd like to, I did put together this little image from a screencap of the trailer (the part where he's flipping along the side of the building)

While they aren't exactly the same, the Venom spider and the new back logo look quite similar. Thoughts?

There's a cool (IMO) song by the Smashing Pumpkins called "White Spider"

You should also be able to find the song someplace for free...it was on their Machina II album that was released as a free download since the studio idn't want to put it out after Machina I had low sales numbers.

I was let down by the symbiote suit. I was looking forward to that MORE then Venom. it was a big let down.
