I'd put a lot of money betting on a bunch of people working around the clock to make that happen for the 2015 deadline. Whether they succeed is another animal

What if Eric Stoltz had completed filming the first one?

Then we wouldn't have had a trilogy and BTTF would've been a one-hit wonder, IMO.

They said that Eric's version of Marty was just too serious and gave off a different almost somber vibe that just didn't work. MJF was perfect.

I mean don't forget, Fox was their first choice from the get-go.

Also Fox is much shorter than Lloyd, so that helps out the dynamic on a visual level.

Until I see video of the laces actually doing their thing, I'm not getting my hopes up... (but I will start saving money :p ).

Yeah, if it's like the first bidding prepare to save up in the $2000 range at minimum.

First, you just lost 2 points on your geek card by asking that :)
Unobtainium is a mythical supra-conductor ore at ambient temperature, in other words it allows to make "super magnet" without the needs of cooling the metal at below zero temp.
See Avatar for more details.

I didn't know what Unobtainium was either. :O

And forget Avatar!

10 points for the house of Xavier!

I must decline. My instinct of righteousness dictated me to tell that I had to google it for, even if it was familiar to me, I could not place it in the proper movie.

I have no desire to see that tree-hugging, CGI fest.

The second movie is...different. Very dark. It definitely wasn't the way I thought a sequel would go. The first movie is one of my all time faves but I've only seen the second one once.

I noticed that reaction a lot among other folks I knew who'd seen Part II when it first came out. I think more than anything, though, it probably had something to do with the fact that the first one played more to the comedy aspects of the story and was probably therefore appreciated primarily as a comedy...and thus those people who had seen and loved the first movie on just those merits were probably thrown for a loop when the second one went more into the sci-fi direction of things. Of the kids in my sixth grade class who'd seen it, I think I was one of only two of us in that bunch who actually understood what Doc was trying to explain during the chalkboard scene.

I saw the second one when it came out in the movie theater; i was about 15. I was a little surprised by the tone, but still enjoyed it immensely.
