Went to my friends 21st this weekend, here's a picture of me as Marty Mcfly :woot:

BTTF.jpg

I think I definately had one of the best costumes there.
Last Halloween I went as Doc Brown, and my friend went as Marty. If I can find some pics, I'll post them.

Nice costume!

Part 4 of the game comes out for PC/Mac tomorrow!

I still haven't finished Part 3. :csad:

And here's the trailer for Part 4 of the game. Looks amazing!

has anyone figured out what happened to the two missing marty's in the film, especially the last one?

I thought that video was a joke and then Christopher Lloyd entered the picture...but this is foreign...and Lloyd's speaking English...

WTF is going on man?!

He did that BTTF ad for Direct TV a few years back too.

God bless Christopher Lloyd.

He'll do Microsoft promo video's, Simpson's ride, fan music videos,Argentinian tv commercials, video games, and Direct tv advertisements

Telltale Games' recent movie tie-in Back to the Future: The Game is coming to the Wii, the publisher has announced.
The episodic adventure will launch in the US in October at a budget price of $19.99.
A spokesperson for Telltale told Eurogamer that European release plans should be firmed up in the next 24 hours. We'll update when they come in.

I love his cameo in The Simpsons Ride.

Cool news about the game...I would definitely pick up the Wii version. I still have to play the final episode of the PC version. That part has a Michael J. Fox cameo! :awesome:

How Marty and Doc first met (according to Bob Gale):

“Okay, from the horse’s mouth (yes, I’m the horse — er, co-writer, co-creator): We never explained it in the movie. But the history of the characters that Bob Zemeckis and I created is this…

For years, Marty was told that Doc Brown was dangerous, a crackpot, a lunatic. So, being a red-blooded American teenage boy, age 13 or 14, he decided to find out just why this guy was so dangerous. Marty snuck into Doc’s lab, and was fascinated by all the cool stuff that was there. When Doc found him there, he was delighted to find that Marty thought he was cool and accepted him for what he was. Both of them were the black sheep in their respective environments. Doc gave Marty a part-time job to help with experiments, tend to the lab, tend to the dog, etc. And that’s the origin of their relationship.”

— Bob Gale

This is hilarious. Michael J Fox has issues not saying "Doc" on a different film set.

:lmao: I wish The Frighteners would come out on blu-ray already.

I read in one of his books that when he was doing the first Back to the Future and Family Ties at the same time that he would accidentally call his Family Ties dad "Doc" and once panicked at a taping of the show because he couldn't find the video camera he used in the movie. :funny:

Check out the reference in the Family Ties outtake (happens around 1:20)

About the game.

I love how it takes place mostly in the 1930s when Doc was Marty's age. If they had ever made a fourth film, that's definitely the direction I would have wanted them to go into.

Great Scott..I think it's time for me to have another BTTF marathon

I've heard two versions

How did Marty and Doc get to know each other in the original timeline?

We never find out. In an early draft of the screenplay, Marty got to know Doc when he was 15; he would do odd jobs for him as an assistant, initially as an after-school job, but after some time they became friends:
MARTY: Doc Brown's all right - he's just a little hung up on time. A couple of years ago he showed up at my house and hired me to sweep out this garage of his. He pays me 50 bucks a week, gives me free beer...and gives me total access to his record collection - he's got this great old record collection.

Another is Doc Brown making a class presentation at Marty's school and both sharing similar hobbies

cool commerical and other things. Ya I too also heard how they met is different in a few places. I got a 4th draft of bttf and it has a completely different backstory meeting for them.
