They really are waiting for 2015 to tie-in with the movie year!?,IF they'll be power laced and out to the full market world wide in 2015..It'll be worth the wait!

I think that part was a joke , I'm not expecting any power laces . Great ads though, it was a cool idea.

This guy went the do it yourself route.

The highest I have scene on EBay was $10,000 after 26 bids, that was only ONE PAIR. **** I'll never get a pair.

$75,000 according to Slashfilm on twitter :wow:. Lowest bid is apparently $2000. They're going to make a fortune.

And Google is matching it, so they'll get double of whatever they make.

My God nerds with disposable income are the nerds I envy the most.

The shoes are in the $5000+ range on ebay now. That's pretty damn awesome.

Just saw the commercial with Bill Hader from Saturday Night Live and NBA Star Kevin Durant....awesome.

I know its kind of blasphemy among BTTF fans but seeing Christopher Lloyd doing all his Doc Brown stuff for Microsoft, Nike and that South American electronics chain makes me kind of wish they did one more movie with Christopher Llyod coming back to help Marty McFly Junior (played by some current actor with a cameo by Micheal J.Fox as Marty senior)

MM junior is MJF, so fail...

are these going to be available to the public at your local foot locker at all?

These may be something id buy

Oh hey, my favorite movie trilogy

First movie is my favorite, the ending that built up to movie two is kinda useless, it's more useless considering how near the end of the third movie the doc talks about how the future can be molded, it didn't happen yet

The movies are still great, watched them so many times for so many years, never lost their fine moments and self indulgent, too bad I can't say the same about the horrible cartoon follow up, it got me to love these movies back as a child

So, whats the point on getting the shoes if "they are not intended for normal footwear"

I don't think so. Besides, you can't wear them and they don't have power laces. It'd be as if they released the Hoverboard that doesn't hover, it'd just be a skateboard without wheels.

Well, the money goes to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research, so that's a good reason to get them if you've got the cash. I think it's more of a collector's thing than an actual shoe purchase.

Remake! Remake!!! :woot:

.... just kidding, I am gonna own those shoes someday though.
